    Maggie,

I know what you mean. I had diligently worked with all sorts of belief change stuff for several years and knew there had to be a better delivery system....PATHS is just that for me. Way more efficient and effective than anything else. Any affirmation I want I can just have it popped into my platinum module and my subconscious can go to work on it directly without too much interference from the conscious, which can be more stubborn....

I haven't read Bruce Lipton but would like to. I enjoy things that give a scientific explanation for certain things that seem magical (read: imaginary). Once the the subconscious and the conscious mind are in agreement, certain truths no longer become things you wish were true, they become things that you know are real.

      hi,
in reading what you both wrote....Paths is pretty much the first major thing i have used to make changes for me and wow it's great.....but must have alot of stuff to sift through, cuz i am a ways away from where i'd like to be, although my insides are becoming amazing, i suppose some tweeking of them are still needed.....i guess what i am getting at is i feel like i may have or may be missing out without trying these other things that you have mentioned, but at the same time maybe i am just impatient......

I do feel like i am on the edge of a major break through and have just added the deserving modual to my theater which i beleive has been a huge block for me all of my life....so i am excited and nervous..(wierd)....

On the topic of B. Liptons book....I have about 6 pages to go, and OMG, it has been an amazing read for me, i love his book, although it isn't as indepth enough as i'd like....I was reading the part about fears, and how we are either in growth or protection, and OMG...that explains alot for me, to this day infact, look forward to reading more of his work and stuff around this subject....and PATHS makes so much sense, and makes more sense, i understand better what it is doing....so to speak, can't explain what i feel exactlly, but it is a feeling, a sense of knowing that i am on the right path, and have always been...cuz i always believed that if i did the 'work' to clear my energy heal my issues...(through councelling and whatever self-help was out there) or however one wants to interpret it.....remove the blocks that have been in the way, including the pain and disease....i went from boarderline hypocondriac to not being convinced by what the doctors are telling me, except for a diagnosis that gave me something to work with....(which came from being told that i had arthritis...my mind wasn't convinced, cuz i couldn't get strait answers, everything always seemed so vague when asking for specifics from the Dr.....like why?? ya, my poor parents couldn't answer those questions either )..
then I began to believe that i could heal myself and i needed to focus on the inside of me in order to manifest on the outside of me, and i keep coming across stuff/info today that is confirming what i have always known and i love that....(mind you there is definitly some fine tuning going on in regards to what i think i know or have known).. i could go into deep discussion, but on the other hand as i begin to talk with someone about my beleifs and stuff i've learned, i am getting different twists on the same stuff...or how would i put it???...missing pieces to things....so in all i have come into contact with some amazing people who are helping me understand things with more clarity....and a different twist i guess....I feeling so grateful and overwhelmed with everything i am learning.....I love reading the science that goes with the enviromental and childhood and perception stuff.

      till later......LOVE...Adrienne

          Fun With DNA

Scientists convert the sequence of proteins into music

          Medical Science News
          Published: Sunday, 20-May-2007

UCLA molecular biologists have turned protein sequences into original compositions of classical music.

"We converted the sequence of proteins into music and can get an auditory signal for every protein," said Jeffrey H. Miller, distinguished professor of microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics, and a member of UCLA's Molecular Biology Institute. "Every protein will have its unique auditory signature because every protein has a unique sequence. You can hear the sequence of the protein."

"We assigned a chord to each amino acid," said Rie Takahashi, a UCLA research assistant and an award-winning, classically trained piano player. "We want to see if we can hear patterns within the music, as opposed to looking at the letters of an amino acid or protein sequence. We can listen to a protein, as opposed to just looking at it."

The building blocks of proteins are linear sequences of 20 different amino acids. Assigning one note for each amino acid therefore results in a 20-note scale.

"A 20-note scale is too large a range," Takahashi said. "You need a reduced scale, so we paired similar amino acids together and used chords and chord variations for each amino acid. We used each component of the music to indicate a specific characteristic of the protein. We are faithful in the conversion from the sequence to the music. The rhythm is dictated by the protein sequence."

On the biologists' site (http://www.mimg.ucla.edu/faculty/mil...examples.html), you can listen to the compositions and even submit your own genetic sequence and have it translated to music. The browser allows anyone to send in a sequence coding for a protein, which will then be converted into music and returned as a MIDI audio file. The research is published in Genome Biology, a major journal in the field of genomics.

"I was thinking of doing a project like this for years," Miller said, "but realized I needed a person who has the unique characteristics of being both a molecular geneticist and a serious classical musician. When I met Rie, I realized this is the person I've been looking for."

Takahashi was a UCLA undergraduate in microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics who did the research as an honors thesis.

"Many scientists like classical music," she noted. "Before I took a course from Dr. Miller, those two worlds were separate in my mind. To bridge the two is very rewarding. My piano teacher doesn't have a science background, but when I use music to explain proteins to him, it goes from gibberish to something that really interests him."

Takahashi and Miller are not the first scientists to attempt to convert protein sequences into music, but they believe their music is more melodic and less "jumpy" than previous attempts. Initially, Takahashi converted the amino acids and played the resulting music on the piano. Now they are piloting a computer program, written by colleague Frank Pettit, that uses their translation rules to convert the protein sequences to music. They hope this will speed up the translation of large segments of genomes.

Takahashi first converted to music the human ThyA protein, which makes thymidine, a key component of DNA.

She also converted the Huntington protein, which plays a major role in Huntington's disease. Huntington's disease is an example of a triplet repeat disorder in which an expansion of a repeated glutamine sequence causes the protein to lose its proper function. Such an expansion leads to a neurological disorder. An untrained ear can hear the repeating chords.

"We believe this can be a tremendous teaching tool to get children, non-scientists and the visually impaired interested in proteins and molecular biology," Miller said. "When I was a kid, I listened to 'Peter and the Wolf,' which was a fabulous way to introduce young people to musical instruments and classical music."

In the music, individual amino acids are expressed as chords, and similar amino acids are paired. For example, the amino acids tyrosine and phenylalanine are both assigned a G major chord, but they can be distinguished because the notes in the chord are arranged differently. The music has a 20-note range spanning over two octaves, but with just 13 base notes.

Takahashi published an earlier version of the research in the UCLA Undergraduate Science Journal.

As a second phase of the research, Takahashi has added variations to the music and drawn out chords.

"Some of Rie's compositions sound Chopinesque," said Miller, who is encouraging her to make a CD with her compositions that contain variations of several proteins.

                PATHS and other modalities

Thanks Kevin, yes Biology of Belief is excellent - great book and I did see the PSYCH-K but didn't order. I've used other technologies- subliminal tapes and cd's from Innertalk by Dr. Eldon Taylor that work and are patented. HPP by Dr. Lloyd Glauberman and a similar method by Learning Strategies Corp. by Paul Scheele. Good stuff, but the time per day and the wait on results is lengthy. for HPP you listen 45min a day for a month or so and occasional refresh sessions there after.

The results for me with PATHS has been dramatic in one month: I healed fast from a bicycle accident w/Stem Cell Health then switched to Ultimate Body and am getting stronger and more solid in 2 weeks time, and have a new job using Increased Business Productivity & Creativity!

Since "Time is Money" -- How much do you think we're saving spending 3 - 12 min. a week???? I never thought of that till today...
The older technologies compared to PATHS is like comparing the first phonograph to a cd or MP3 player... it's that dramatic Congrats Maggie on your raise at work and everything else!

                Thank You,
                Doug

                  Thoughts are us.

I just read in a magazine that the average number of women having the breast cancer mutation gene is 1 in 500. However for Jewish women of Eastern European decent, the numbers are 1 in 40.

The magazine did not say the following, but I'm connecting the Jewish women of Eastern European decent with those having gone through the Holocaust (or those who decended from those who had).

Perhaps it is the thoughts of death, fear, and loss (either directly or carried down) that have caused this difference in statistics.

JZ Knight goes into detail on how to use thoughts to change your dna and thus your life.

She tells what the purpose of negative emotions are, what different levels of realities are about, and describes how immortality is possible.

Lots of what she says ties in with Lipton's stuff but it is more of a how to than Lipton.

I like to read the same message over and over again, stated different ways, because of the cross-reinforcement.

Things manifested a lot faster for me when I was on successful living so I'm going back on it. I need training wheels, a manual, a cheer squad and a straitjacket to consistently think positive thoughts. (Or just PATHS.)

I can get kind of lazy with just reading things; funny how the whole thing is just easier when I relax about reading "everything" and analyzing the whole world...and just get that "successful living" brain transfusion.

I'm praying that this time, because of all the growth I've recently experienced through my custom instructions, that I will be much more accepting of the SLP and won't have the cognitive dissonance I once had with it. Wish me luck please!

                        Belle Babe,

As a '2nd time around was way better' experiencer of SL1 I applaud you and know it will be a piece of just as my 2nd time was.

My only regret was that I didn't switch out of it after a month - when the uneasiness began, rather than like a month and a half, the first time around.

Thanks for the reassurance. Actually the most "ooh, special, kick butt" type things happened for me when I was on the second one of the three, so I'm kind of looking forward to that one.

The first time around I felt like I was actually a positive person for the first time in my life. This time around I want to make miracles occur in my life. I want to be an especially positive person who turns everything in my life to "gold." I mostly want to create a richness of experience in my work, relationships, and creative pursuits that I have always thought was for "other" people, "lucky" people.

I declare, I am one of those lucky people.

I read the biology of belief and attended a PSYCH-K workshop with Jonas & Bernice Werzberger in Atlanta last year. There were quite a few mental health professionals in attendance investigating the process as a treatment option.
Effectively it trains one how to affect the subconscious programming and lock-in (or confirm) the changes via muscle testing. Fascinating stuff really.
