Let's take it a step further! You can visit the link below to show congress your support for some very important legislation!

Congratulations and thanks to Al Gore and the IPCC!
There's no better way to celebrate a Nobel Peace Prize than urging Congress to act.
Visit our Operation Climate Vote Hub to take action and get involved.
What great news that the Nobel Peace Prize went to former Vice President Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

    Well-deserved!

Global warming is the most serious environmental threat facing the planet today. No one has done more than Al Gore to raise public awareness and no institution has done more than the IPCC to rigorously study the threats global warming poses to the planet.

We owe them a huge debt of gratitude for their noble and incomparable service to humankind.

It is important that we use this moment to not just celebrate the Nobel Prize, but to urge our political leaders to take concrete steps now to cap and reduce our global warming pollution.

The science is clear and the urgency is real. That is why we have launched Operation Climate Vote to apply maximum political pressure on Congress to pass tough global warming legislation in both the House and Senate.

Visit our Operation Climate Vote Hub to take action and get involved.

Already, 40,000 people have taken action and hundreds more have called their members of Congress to support global warming legislation this year. Together, we're making a difference.

We are closer than we have ever been to passing comprehensive global warming legislation in the U.S. But we're not there yet. With your help, we're doing everything we can to urge Congress to pass legislation this year.

After Al Gore stands on the stage in Oslo to receive his award, I think the American public will turn to the leaders of both parties in the U.S. Congress to see where they stand.

The scientific evidence that the former vice president and the IPCC have helped drive home tells us there's no consolation prize for Congress if it fails to act.

Thank you for all that you do and my heartfelt thanks go to Al Gore and the IPCC for their critical work.

    Sincerely,

    Fred Krupp
    President

      Hi

I signed up for project1world a week ago.
A day after I saw the theatre, I listened to my usual binaural soundtrack for 30 mins and noticed a very prominent throbbing in the space between my eyebrows - this would be where the 3rd eye is located. I listened to the track the next day and same thing. I haven't watched the theatre since the first time. I'll try again tomorrow. And see if the throbbing returns.....

        Hi Kiran,

I am assuming that you are enjoying this throbbing at your third eye!! It lets me know that your inner vision (your minds eye) is opening up! Paths does have this affect on many levels. The affect of opening up and balancing the Chakras is just one.

Have you watched the Theater Program again and also listened to your binaural soundtrack again, if so has the throbbing returned? I would love to know what you are experiencing now.

          Hi Grace,

I listened to the Project1World Theatre again a few days ago.
Then, nothing after my binaural mediatations.

Then just last night, I was having restless sleep and I could sense a vibration in the area of my third eye. It wasn't as prominent as the original throbbing I felt my first time, but very noticeable, nonetheless.

            Kiran,

That change in sleep could be a big signal that PATHS is in action.

Yes in the end the sleep will probably become better, not worse.

But any sign of change is a good sign!!

              Check it out!

That I would even take the time to do this experiment, let alone mix this in my paint is definitely a positive result of Project 1 World!

Chili Pepper’s Flea Takes The Tesla Roadster For A Spin

With the all-electric Tesla Roadster rapidly approaching an actual consumer launch, the “can’t wait” expectations of those on the waiting list is reaching a fever pitch. As part of their Customer Drive program in October, Tesla wanted to reassure those in line that the car was in fact coming and offered to provide some prototype test drives to prove as such. One of those lucky enough to get behind the wheel was Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Michael ‘Flea’ Balzary. Below are some of his comments regarding the experience,

“I get into it and pull away from the curb……dead silence wow!!!!…. man it was unbelievable. it drove like nothing i have ever been in before, made my porsche feel like a golf cart! It took off like a rocket ship, handled so sensitively, it was just amazing and fun and thrilling. I am so happy i went with my gut and bought that car. Yeah it is a long wait, but man, the thing is awesome. The silence makes ya feel like you are floating, and it just rocks, it was the funnest car, i have ever been in, with the possible exception of Hillel Slovak’s Datsun B210 in 1979, he was the only guy i knew who had a car, and we listened to lot of zeppelin in there….To enjoy driving as much as is possible in that Tesla, and to pollute nothing, no emissions, into the air, is a great great feeling.”

Flea is also using solar power in his new home and plans on charging his new Tesla (which will probably come sometime early 2008) with clean, green power. Nice. For a great new video of the Tesla in action, check out this clip from Mahalo Daily!

"Green is the new black for savvy consumers, retailers"

"With Seventh Avenue proclaiming that 'green is the new black,' we can expect a surge in fashion innovations in response to climate change"

"It will mean not only debates about the benefits of cotton versus polyester or other fabrics, but likely future innovations such as smart clothes that monitor and adjust to body temperature to reduce the need for air conditioning and heating"

"All of this is coming very quickly. Three years ago no one cared about this in apparel and textiles -- they had people who would wear hemp clothing but they'd buy it at hemp shops. Now it's much more mainstream and the marketplace is catching up"

". . . .companies are also interested in sustainable or green retail efforts."

"Some retailers look at merchandise, some people look at their marketing method, some people have green supply chain initiatives, some people are building green stores. Everybody is trying different things that make sense for their company, their product and their customer base"

Discovery to make nature-themed video games

Discovery to make nature-themed video games - Yahoo! News

I'm convinced that violent video games are one of the causes of the school shootings that have become a part of society in recent years. When I was in school we had some video games with a perhaps violent theme (space invaders) and yeah the shooting gallery machines were around but we never had school shootings.

I think it is the realistic look of the new violent games combined with the amount of time young people are spending playing them and the fact that parents have less time to have real human interaction with their children (plus maybe some other factors like more cultures bumping up against each other) that have led to the problem.

Just think what a different world this could be if our youngersters spent more time playing video games about nature than something like Grand Theft Auto (where the player is the theif).
