  • Power of Words..what do you think about it?

I wrote in my website an article about how words can reveal about your life.. (you can check it here: Humangram | Discovering the Better You)

Do you have experiences about how your choice of words changed your life?

    Cheers,

I think so. There's an expression, "to put one's foot in one's mouth." Essentially, it's poor word choice or poor phrase choice.

Another one that works well is "look before you leap." You could apply that to what you say, as well. For the most part, it means "make sure that you don't make a decision that you can't go back on, unless it's something that you really don't want to go back on."

Self-edit. It's better to think before speaking, keeping in mind who your audience is and how they might react.

Mark Twain said, "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

For further reading, I recommend: Proverbs 18:2 & Proverbs 29:11
