I realized that the best way to get into a meditative state is to practice during the day doing normal day to day tasks. Brushing teeth, washing dishes, walking to and from rooms, on the bus, in the car, meditation can be anywhere and anytime. And soon you will live within a peaceful mind.
Watching videos and doing exercises are training for the real world. If your real world peace is not improving, a re-evaluation might be needed.
