This was a question asked recently on another forum, and I wanted to share my answer here as I believe it may be something that many people are struggling with...
This person's big dream was to become a crossfit and kettle bell trainer. A wonderful synchronistic opportunity came up for her to achieve this goal, but it's going to cost a lot of money - which she doesn't currently have, and she's very worried about how she can get the money to take advantage of the opportunity that will lead to her achieving her dream...
Here's my response....
First of all, WELL DONE YOU for manifesting this opportunity!!!!!!
As we know, the idea is to try not to think about the "how". Imagine you've placed an order in a restaurant, and now you're waiting for your food. You don't worry about how they're going to prepare it, whether they'll manage to get the right ingredients, or have enough fuel to heat the oven... you've placed your order and you Expect it to be served when it's ready. In the meantime, you chat, and just assume it's being done.
I recently had a similar situation... The opportunity of a lifetime came up for me - one I didn't even know existed! When I found out how much it cost (£4500) I was taken aback. It's not expensive for what it is - the opportunity is priceless, but it was a lot of money if you haven't got it. I couldn't think immediately of any way of getting it. BUT I decided that because my feeling was so strong about this opportunity, and I KNEW this was the best thing I'd ever manifested... I chose to KNOW I would go, and to TRUST that the money would come from somewhere. I had no idea where. I couldn't get a loan, don't have credit cards, and didn't know anyone who could lend the money to me ...
But I compared the opportunity to money.... and I thought about how this kind of opportunity might not even exist! Money is all around us - yes it seems it would be near to impossible to get that amout together by the deadline, and yes I couldn't think of any way of doing it.... but money came in and went out all the time - I could see money, I used money - it's there, other people around me have it. It can be made, earned, borrowed, even stolen.... but that opportunity - THAT was not common. That was not all around - and very few people even knew it existed, never mind were offered it. That put things well in perspective for me lol.
I was prepared to do anything for this.
I had said in the past that some people would be prepared to work in the sewers for a month for a Million pounds, but I wouldn't do that. I was musing on what different people would be prepared to do for what they want. I really wanted the money, but I knew I couldn't bring myself to work in the sewers for a month for it.
AND YET.... when this opportunity came up - I knew that if someone said to me "If you work in the sewers for a month, you can take this opportunity" - I would have done it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How interesting is that!!! The Millions pounds would have more than paid for the opportunity, and yet, I still wouldn't have done the sewer job for it... but if the prize was purely this opportunity, I would have done it - that indicated just what the opportunity meant to me. When I realised this, I KNEW I'd manifest the money for it.
I then allowed myself to relax on the subject. I just knew I was going on this trip. I had the attitude I would have if a friend had said they would book the tickets to a concert - I was looking forward to it, and I knew the tickets were being taken care of. And I was ALSO keeping an eye out for opportunities to get the money - WITHOUT desperately loooooooooking.
And then.... when I was in a very relaxed and musing state of mind, and when I was least expecting it, an idea popped into my head that I would NEVER have thought of! It was something I'd never thought of before - and it wouldn't have worked for anything else even if I had thought of it before .. but for THIS opportunity, it was a possibility. I didn't know if it was a certainty, but it was a possibility.... and so I took the action to find out... and.... (it was only confirmed as definite about a week before the money was due to be paid, but I Trusted because I knew I'd manifested this opportunity, and I was Determined I would be going (Powerful Intention - like I didn't remember ever feeing before) ... and ... it came through! And I went on the trip - and it was everything it promised to be.
Recognise that YOU have manifested this opportunity, and you wouldn't have manifested it if there wasn't a way to manifest the means to do it! Trust, Have the same attitude you would if you'd asked a friend to book tickets for a concert - or if you'd ordered a meal in a restaurant... and keep open to other opportunities that may lead to the means for this one. Don't dismiss or discount anything.
If I had been worried (as I have in the past) and anxious about where the money would come from.. and tryyyyyyying to find ways to get it, I would have been closed to the idea that finally came through - I would have been so busy trying to FIND a How, that I wouldn't have seen the one that was right there all along. Of course, there were times I was anxious and worried it wouldn't come through - BUT, each time I felt that, I'd acknowledge it, and then remind myself of what I've said above, and I would then distract myself with whatever felt good at the time.
So when you do feel worried and anxious - don't worry about that lol - it's natural, but the important thing is what you do with that then... reassure yourself as you would a loved one who was worried. Remind yourself that if you've manifested the opportunity, the means to take it up are ALREADY there, it's just a case of keeping an eye out for them. Remind yourself about the analogy of ordering in a restaurant... and then focus on following what feels good in the moment.
