I prefer to use Audacity for it's tone generator, BW generator is free to use for a month but then you have to pay. Audacity is open source, thus free, and does frequency generation to the second decimal (0.00Hz).

Given that your "personal computer" is not really yours (unless you are some computer prodigy), the sensibility of using it to modify your thinking process sounds a lot like volunteering for brain-washing.
After all, you have no way to verify what you are uploading into your wet-ware.
You take it on faith that the product will be beneficial and have no detrimental or hidden aspects.

Induced resonance effects

I came across this thread quite by accident. The subject matter is very interesting. I have for sometime been experimenting with electromagnetic circuits using inductors at various frequencies_not related to health matters but more to do with power circuits. I had noticed on several occasions after working with these devices feelings ranging from headaches and sickness to an increase in alertness and general good feeling. Never thought anything about these effects at the time until delving into the possible links of such frequencies and their effects on the human body. To my surprise a wealth of information exists that basically comes down to cell resonance which can be induced by several forms of energy. Pulsed infra red light for healing skin injuries_electrostatic and electromagnetic induction and of course sound through induced mechanical vibrations. I now intend to look further into some of these healing claims using my skills as an electronics engineer.

Just a quick post to say I have some audio coming my way soon, some field recordings of a couple of Taoist chants. These chants are a variation on the homemade sound healing concept that are over two thousand years old, I'm really excited to be getting my hands on them!

Main things I'm interested in, their intonation, any vocal modulation and of course, the frequency. Not to mention the audio-geek coolness points for having another one of a kind field recordings in my sample library, but don't worry about that.

Speaking of awesome asiatic sound therapies, if you haven't already discovered the so called "Tibetan Singing Bowls," get googling. I find them invigorating, especially if I leave them playing nice and loud when I sleep. They're especially good for anxiety.

Oh, I forgot to mention, One of the chants (in fact the one that will get run through spectral analysis first, because it's the one I'm really interested in,)
Is called the Golden Light Invocation. Golden. How's the serendipity!

Some find that attaching the copper wire to body works much better than via speaker. The problem is electricity tend to travel along the skin at low frequency. Some suggest to use 1.6MHz carrier to allow the main frequency to travel to even the most isolated lymph.

The same principle is used by Andrija Puharich by modulating audible frequency with 20KHz to allow depth people to hear again.

Wow. Just, wow. Chant the following blessing three times in a monotone, then, use your abdomen and diaphragm to fully inhale quickly, then repeat the blessing three more times, inhale, repeat three times, inhale, repeat three times. The lower you can pitch your voice, the better the effect.

(Pinyin transliteration) SAN QING JIAO ZU WU LIANG TIAN ZUN

(English translation) Three Pure Ones, Founders of Taoism, Limitless, Honored in Heaven.

The sounds of the chant are themselves grounding and centering sounds. You don't need to understand the meaning to feel the power in these words. For the best effect, stand outside, barefoot in the grass, feet shoulder width apart, hands loose by your thighs with the palms facing downwards and feel the flow of energy up from the earth through your feet and circulating through your body. As you chant, imagine roots growing out of the soles of your bare feet and down into the ground, connecting you to the earth, bringing you nourishment and energy for growth.

Chant the blessing so the sound starts from the bottom your chest, not your throat or mouth or nose. Let it resonate out of you, create the sound and let it ring out through heaven, earth and the realm of spirit.

Have you eyes open, but don't look at anything, don't focus on anything, don't think about what you see, allow vision of the world to come in through the eyes like air comes in through the nose. Focus on making the sounds of the blessing correctly and keeping your breath going in a slow exhale, fast inhale pattern.

This is not a mantra or sutra, it's a taoist prayer to what is basically the holy trinity of the Toaist religion. It isn't like you're asking for anything, or confering blessing on anything or anyone in particular, it is simply invokes the three purest form of spirit (Qi, Yin and Yang,) and honors them. By chanting it, you don't just center and ground yourself, you help to center and ground the whole universe.

If you DON't understand this stuff, by all means, ask for direction, ask for tones, ask for a how to. I would caution anyone who can't make this stuff for themselves (and it's not hard...) to be aware of the fact people who know less than you are presenting their videos for you to get your miracle. All they really want is the youtube profit sharing revenue that comes from posting frequently viewed videos. Once again, the TRIVIAL PURSUIT of MONEY is CORRUPTING the TRUE KNOWLEDGE.

It's the new age curse just saying to be aware of it.

Myth busted?

OK, so the tone for awakening intuition is a harmonic multiplication of 19hz, the "magic" number we're not meant to pay any attention to, says NASA. Not it, nor the man behind the curtain... that would be cheating. As would be spoiling the fun by pointing out who (s)he really is. (It tells you in Psalm 82, verse 6, actually.)

Baaam. quick home made binaural at 741 left, 745.8 right. Immediately remembered intuition (a perceptive function related to the third eye,) is directly related to the visual cortex, which is the part of the brain where perception is effected by the 19hz vibration on such a physical level. What's the link there?

Getting some mild uneasyness as the sound continues while I type. That's better, quick change to 744.8 on the right ...white. wow... that's some heavy psychoaccoustic illusions, almost hearing something like white noise, or a distant roar of a crowd as an undertone? There goes this evening...

Bare in mind I'm in a soundproof room (and some say I'm a soundproof person, but that's another story,) so when I notice a psychoaccoustic illusion (when I percieve a sound that isn't there) I'm in a controlled environment, it's not coming from somewhere external.

It's the same as an optical illusion, when what you think you see isn't what you're actually seeing... (lol just as I typed that my hard drive spun down, the only sound beyond my control in this environment, but anyway...) only I "think" I hear a low white noise behind his tone. As it went on, I heard other sounds, like chatter, or a waterfall or something, and three distinct percussive sounds, like finger snaps. Not pineal pops, not internal like that, it was from over to my left, about five feet away it seemed. Also getting some temporal perception distortion too (thinking I've been listening to this for longer than I really have. browser says I posted the last post twenty minutes ago, feels more like an hour I've been sitting here wandering around in this sound.)

This is one of the most interesting tones I've played with lately, I like this.
