I would just like your thoughts on one or all of these topics. Can a person see thousands of miles away? Can they see peoples past lives? Or can a person really see a persons life from a picture? And if it is true why and what can a person do with all these abilities? And where does vold readings fall in? Thanks The Seerer

Yes, some people have the abilities to do such kind of readings like mind reading, past life reading and picture readings.

It is possible for us to do these things to some extent. There are only a couple of things you need to know about to explain the why, but it may take a lifetime of study to learn it and be able to apply it (given that you accept it and pursue knowledge/experience of it). The first, most important fact to recognize is that we are all part of the same thing. Separation is an illusion. All that we can sense is built on an etheric structure of vibrational energy, as are we.

The second thing is that time is also an illusion, something that we made up. The past isn't really the past and the future isn't really the future. All that really exists is now. Hard concept to grasp, but essential.

If you are truly interested in this subject, I would recommend reading about mediums and how they work. There are various types of mediums and they get their information in different ways. Edgar Cayce used his ability to come up with specific remedies for specific people with specific diseases. Others use their ability to help police find dead bodies and criminals or missing persons. Some use it to ease the minds of those who have lost loved ones and help them communicate with each other across the veil of death. Some simply to prove that such communications are real. Read about the life of Madame Blavatsky. She was able to move things telekinetically, foretell future events, and communicate quickly across vast distances in an era when that was impossible by normal means. She could also turn one thing into another. Throughout time, there have been many with this type of ability and it is rather easy to find their stories if you look.

Cold reading is usually a combination of intuition and careful observation developed over years of training. Sherlock Holmes is a well known example of someone who we all know was very good at making deductions about a person from their appearance. We also (as humans) tend to respond similarly when faced with similar stimuli so that our behavior in a given circumstance can be reasonably predicted. A cold reader would never be able to provide the quality and amount of information about someone that a good psychic medium would.
