Here is a picture I took just now on Google Earth. Check out the diamond shapes. This is totally different from the previous constant pentagon.

I haven't heard anything as yet, I've also just checked our news. This is the central business district in Melbourne, my son is currently at work there, so if anything major shows up I guess he will eventually hear about it. I live about 40kms out from the CBD. At the moment we have very heavy cloud cover so it is difficult to see anything.

If you look closely the shape in the photo it does appear to be emitting 2 diagonal streaks of llight though so it doesn't look like a weather balloon to me.

Also interesting to note as of now when I am posting this:

Current UTC (or GMT/Zulu)-time used: Monday, 13 October 2008, 23:48:17
UTC is Coordinated Universal Time, GMT is Greenwich Mean Time.

It may be that once UTC time rolls around for 14th October more may be seen .

Christian , I back tracked on the previous photos from your last link & found it the time stated is the following:This photo was taken 6 hours 07 minutes ago at 07:00. So it was this morning which would fit because when I first got up we had clear skies.

I have just looked at the time of the previous photo taken at 6:45 am - It wasn't present then & the photo after that one taken at 7:15 there was more cloud & it wasn't visible then. So something appeared in that time 30 mins time frame.

You are not seeing an object in the photo, you are seeing a reflection off of something behind the clouds, probably an airplane. Check the angle of the sunlight in relation to the reflection.

It is very hard to believe that a huge ship of that size will appear in the skies, but let's see if it appears.

Google Earth Snapshots Today

Hi,

I wonder whats all about the Google Earth triangles. If a great ship of that size is above our planet, why isn't it visible from earth? But visible by the satellites? Anyway here are the two snapshots I got today from the North Pole.
