  • Transparent Xylophone Wood!

Check this out! Normal one I took after the weird one but showed the normal one first to show what it should obviously look like!

I apologize this pic is sooooo big but I wanted you to see the details in full clarity!

The wood literally was transparent for this picture and you can see everything behind it!

Any explanations? It is NOT a blur - the stick is steady and in focus and so is the black ball. It is not a trick, this is EXACTLY as I took it and directly downloaded it - this is not a photoshopped image. It is not a reflection on top of the wood...the normal one has a regular reflection on it from the flash or above light.

    Sincerely,
    Aaron Murakami

      Very interesting indeed.
Can you maybe try this again to see if you can replicate the effect? It would be interesting to know if you can see the effect also by naked eye or is it too fast and you just can't see it. A high speed camera could be handy.
It's better to wear off by working than to rust by doing nothing.

        Transparent Wood - It dematerialized???

Actually the wooden handle is transparent too. Looking closely at the left edge of the orange key, you can see its corner angle through the wood. And the bottom part of the screw on the left side of the orange key is slightly visible through the wood.

I certainly didn't notice it with the naked eye. I only noticed this when I looked at the pics when I downloaded them from the camera into a folder. Camera is a Casio EX-S770.

I just tried the same pic in the same location with same lighting, it looks like the normal one. The handle is wood and that showed transparency in the pic I took too. The ball is checked is a black piece of plastic and not wood and is NOT transparent. I just shined various very bright lights on it with it in a tube and there is no visible light coming through. It is about the same kind of plastic my mobile phone case is made of.

          weird photo effect

The camera must take 2 pictures sequentially and overlap them. The keys and then the stick but why doesn't the stick blur? It seems like when the stick is moving that the keys are photographed and then when the stick/ball moves in that it shoots that and overlays them on top of each other but why doesn't it catch the stick initially when capturing the full keys with the stick out of the way?

            Wild effect harmonic?

Do you think the frequency of the sound from the key caused a vibration that caused this illusion?

            Should be replicated to verify!

Maybe the link to the invisible man...

This isn't a double exposure. The end of the wood stick is also clearly visible where the ball is formed around it.

The camera's CCD is capable of 'seeing' some types of energies which aren't visible to the human eye. It is possible for some people to train their eyes to see a type of electro-optical energy which passes through matter. Otherwise, a CCD is used to resolve images through walls and ceilings.

It appears that your room was being "scanned" at the moment you took the picture. There aren't that many workshops around, after all.

Congratulations on getting some evidence of this type of activity.

                the effect

I don't know. I tend to think it is some sort of motion blurr effect but there is no blurr. How can it take the whole xylophone, THEN capture the stick moving in - without a blurr, and have the stick be transparent.

                Definitely an interesting effect.

My wishful thinking side hopes it is something anomalous
