This is a very old thing I wrote up about 5 years ago on my perspective of how metal or spoons can be bent. Looking back at this doc I stumbled on in my old cd archives, I still actually agree with it.
----------------------------------------------------
A spoon can be bent with the mind because it is in a state of probability. Remember that the intention of the mind alone can influence the course of electrons and other subtle energy components. Metal is made of atoms and the atoms are obviously composed of various subtle energy components. This is a logical idea and is nothing new but the metal bending effects seems to happen usually when the person doing the intending looks away. The Chinese call this “unobservable flight” when it is applied to objects flying off of a table clear across the room only when the person looks away. There doesn’t seem to be anything to explain this that I’ve come across.
The formative energy template that the physical structure of the metal conforms to in this reality can of course be altered. When focusing the intention on a piece of metal to bend in a certain place, there is more than enough energy to get the atomic energies fluxing back into a state of probability but the change won’t be apparent until the awareness has been taken off of the metal. As soon as the awareness is taken off, the “latching on” to what was is gone and the intention that overpotentialized the metal in the place to bend finally reorganizes the template so the energies that are in the probability flux can conform to the new template. This is why the bending takes place often as soon as the person looks away. Look with intent at a wave and it collapses into a “particle” and look away and it goes back into a wave form. The focus is holding it in place and when focus is removed, it will collapse into whatever the most probable template is if there is one (existing physical matter).
An amateur would most likely have this effect more often than a master. A master can look at something and detach his conscious awareness. Therefore, the master could do it while looking at it.

formative energy template = this is a term I made up long before I ever knew of what a morphogenic field concept was but means exactly the same thing
