I was wondering if anyone had some idea what could make car batteries go spontaneously dead? Last Thursday I had the batteries in both my vehicles go completely flat, the weird thing was both cars started fine earlier in the day.Today a cement pumper truck pulled up across the street to do a job and they turned the engine off for a coffee break and when they went to restart the batteries were stone cold flat. I went over and told them what happened to me previously and I think they thought I was nuts. They called a mechanic because they thought it had to be a bad conection or a starter issue but couldnt find anything wrong, I told them just to leave the jumpers on longer because the batteries were really dead, after 20 minutes it fired up.The guys couldnt believe it the truck had 4 giant batteries and they were fully charged earlier in the morning. Does anyone have any Idea what could be going on here?
