    Surah 81. The Overthrowing, Extinguished!

    81:3 When the mountains vanish (like a mirage);

    81:6 When the oceans boil over with a swell;

    81:9 For what crime she was killed;

    81:12 When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat;

    81:15 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede,

    81:18 And the Dawn as it breathes away the darkness;-

    81:21 With authority there, (and) faithful to his trust.

    81:24 Neither doth he withhold grudgingly a knowledge of the Unseen.

    81:27 Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds:

      • There are few other surah that are of great interest .......two of them we will look at

        Al Jinn
        Surah 72. HM 9
        The Jinn, Spirits

        72:3 'And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord: He has taken neither a wife nor a son.

        72:6 'True, there were persons among mankind who took shelter with persons among the Jinns, but they increased them in folly.

        72:9 'We used, indeed, to sit there in (hidden) stations, to (steal) a hearing; but any who listen now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.

        72:12 'But we think that we can by no means frustrate Allah throughout the earth, nor can we frustrate Him by flight.

        72:15 'But those who swerve,- they are (but) fuel for Hell-fire'-

        72:18 "And the places of worship are for Allah (alone): So invoke not any one along with Allah;

        72:21 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to right conduct."

        72:24 At length, when they see (with their own eyes) that which they are promised,- then will they know who it is that is weakest in (his) helper and least important in point of numbers.

        72:27 "Except an apostle whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him,

        Signs and symbols rule the world, not words nor laws.” -Confucius.

          An Nisâ'
          Surah 4. HM 4
          The Women

          4:3 If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two or three or four; but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice.

          4:6 Make trial of orphans until they reach the age of marriage; if then ye find sound judgment in them, release their property to them; but consume it not wastefully, nor in haste against their growing up. If the guardian is well-off, Let him claim no remuneration, but if he is poor, let him have for himself what is just and reasonable. When ye release their property to them, take witnesses in their presence: But all-sufficient is Allah in taking account.

          4:9 Let those (disposing of an estate) have the same fear in their minds as they would have for their own if they had left a helpless family behind: Let them fear Allah, and speak words of appropriate (comfort).

          4:12 In what your wives leave, your share is a half, if they leave no child; but if they leave a child, ye get a fourth; after payment of legacies and debts. In what ye leave, their share is a fourth, if ye leave no child; but if ye leave a child, they get an eighth; after payment of legacies and debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question, has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of legacies and debts; so that no loss is caused (to any one). Thus is it ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-knowing, Most Forbearing.

          4:15 If any of your women are guilty of lewdness, Take the evidence of four (Reliable) witnesses from amongst you against them; and if they testify, confine them to houses until death do claim them, or Allah ordain for them some (other) way.

          4:18 Of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil, until death faces one of them, and he says, "Now have I repented indeed;" nor of those who die rejecting Faith: for them have We prepared a punishment most grievous.

          4:21 And how could ye take it when ye have gone in unto each other, and they have Taken from you a solemn covenant?

          4:24 Also (prohibited are) women already married, except those whom your right hands possess: Thus hath Allah ordained (Prohibitions) against you: Except for these, all others are lawful, provided ye seek (them in marriage) with gifts from your property,- desiring chastity, not lust, seeing that ye derive benefit from them, give them their dowers (at least) as prescribed; but if, after a dower is prescribed, agree Mutually (to vary it), there is no blame on you, and Allah is All-knowing, All-wise.

          4:27 Allah doth wish to Turn to you, but the wish of those who follow their lusts is that ye should turn away (from Him),- far, far away.

          4:30 If any do that in rancour and injustice,- soon shall We cast them into the Fire: And easy it is for Allah.

          4:33 To (benefit) every one, We have appointed shares and heirs to property left by parents and relatives. To those, also, to whom your right hand was pledged, give their due portion. For truly Allah is witness to all things.

          4:36 Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good- to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near, neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (ye meet), and what your right hands possess: For Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious;-

          4:39 And what burden Were it on them if they had faith in Allah and in the Last Day, and they spent out of what Allah hath given them for sustenance? For Allah hath full knowledge of them.

          4:42 On that day those who reject Faith and disobey the apostle will wish that the earth Were made one with them: But never will they hide a single fact from Allah!

          4:45 But Allah hath full knowledge of your enemies: Allah is enough for a protector, and Allah is enough for a Helper.

          4:48 Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed.

          4:51 Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who were given a portion of the Book? they believe in sorcery and Evil, and say to the Unbelievers that they are better guided in the (right) way Than the believers!

          4:54 Or do they envy mankind for what Allah hath given them of his bounty? but We had already given the people of Abraham the Book and Wisdom, and conferred upon them a great kingdom.

            4:57 But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, We shall soon admit to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath,- their eternal home: Therein shall they have companions pure and holy: We shall admit them to shades, cool and ever deepening.

            4:60 Hast thou not turned Thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One, though they were ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the right).

            4:63 Those men,-Allah knows what is in their hearts; so keep clear of them, but admonish them, and speak to them a word to reach their very souls.

            4:66 If We had ordered them to sacrifice their lives or to leave their homes, very few of them would have done it: But if they had done what they were (actually) told, it would have been best for them, and would have gone farthest to strengthen their (faith);

            4:69 HM 1 All who obey Allah ( or Nature ) and the apostle are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah,- of the prophets (who teach), the sincere (lovers of Truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the Righteous (who do good): Ah! what a beautiful fellowship!

            4:72 There are certainly among you men who would tarry behind: If a misfortune befalls you, they say: "Allah did favour us in that we were not present among them."

            4:75 And why should ye not fight in the cause of Allah and of those who, being weak, are ill-treated (and oppressed)?- Men, women, and children, whose cry is: "Our Lord! Rescue us from this town, whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from thee one who will protect; and raise for us from thee one who will help!"

            4:78 "Wherever ye are, death will find you out, even if ye are in towers built up strong and high!" If some good befalls them, they say, "This is from Allah"; but if evil, they say, "This is from thee" (O Prophet). Say: "All things are from Allah." But what hath come to these people, that they fail to understand a single fact?

            4:81 They have "Obedience" on their lips; but when they leave thee, a section of them Meditate all night on things very different from what thou tellest them. But Allah records their nightly (plots): So keep clear of them, and put thy trust in Allah, and enough is Allah as a disposer of affairs.

            4:84 Then fight in Allah's cause - Thou art held responsible only for thyself - and rouse the believers. It may be that Allah will restrain the fury of the Unbelievers; for Allah is the strongest in might and in punishment.

            4:87 Allah! There is no god but He: of a surety He will gather you together against the Day of Judgment, about which there is no doubt. And whose word can be truer than Allah's?

            4:90 Except those who join a group between whom and you there is a treaty (of peace), or those who approach you with hearts restraining them from fighting you as well as fighting their own people. If Allah had pleased, He could have given them power over you, and they would have fought you: Therefore if they withdraw from you but fight you not, and (instead) send you (Guarantees of) peace, then Allah Hath opened no way for you (to war against them).

            4:93 If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, to abide therein (For ever): And the wrath and the curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.

            4:96 Ranks specially bestowed by Him, and Forgiveness and Mercy. For Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

            4:99 For these, there is hope that Allah will forgive: For Allah doth blot out (sins) and forgive again and again.

            4:102 When thou (O Apostle) art with them, and standest to lead them in prayer, Let one party of them stand up (in prayer) with thee, Taking their arms with them: When they finish their prostrations, let them Take their position in the rear. And let the other party come up which hath not yet prayed - and let them pray with thee, Taking all precaution, and bearing arms: the Unbelievers wish, if ye were negligent of your arms and your baggage, to assault you in a single rush. But there is no blame on you if ye put away your arms because of the inconvenience of rain or because ye are ill; but take (every) precaution for yourselves. For the Unbelievers Allah hath prepared a humiliating punishment.

            4:105 We have sent down to thee the Book in truth, that thou mightest judge between men, as guided by Allah: so be not (used) as an advocate by those who betray their trust;

            4:108 They may hide (Their crimes) from men, but they cannot hide (Them) from Allah, seeing that He is in their midst when they plot by night, in words that He cannot approve: And Allah Doth compass round all that they do.

            • sorry for the long post .............. i post then i read

              follow up :

              4:111 And if any one earns sin. he earns it against His own soul: for Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.

              4:114 In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value).

              4:117 (The Pagans), leaving Him, call but upon female deities: They call but upon satan the persistent rebel!

              4:120 Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception.

              4:123 Not your desires, nor those of the People of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil, will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find, besides Allah, any protector or helper.

              4:126 But to Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth: And He it is that Encompasseth all things.

              4:129 Ye are never able to be fair and just as between women, even if it is your ardent desire: But turn not away (from a woman) altogether, so as to leave her (as it were) hanging (in the air). If ye come to a friendly understanding, and practise self-restraint, Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

              4:132 Yea, unto Allah belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and enough is Allah to carry through all affairs.

              4:135 O ye who believe! stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

              4:138 To the Hypocrites give the glad tidings that there is for them (but) a grievous penalty;-

              4:141 (These are) the ones who wait and watch about you: if ye do gain a victory from Allah, they say: "Were we not with you?"- but if the unbelievers gain a success, they say (to them): "Did we not gain an advantage over you, and did we not guard you from the believers?" but Allah will judge betwixt you on the Day of Judgment. And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers.

              4:144 O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: Do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves?

              4:147 What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things.

              4:150 Those who deny Allah and His apostles, and (those who) wish to separate Allah from His apostles, saying: "We believe in some but reject others": And (those who) wish to take a course midway,-

              4:153 The people of the Book ask thee to cause a book to descend to them from heaven: Indeed they asked Moses for an even greater (miracle), for they said: "Show us Allah in public," but they were dazed for their presumption, with thunder and lightning. Yet they worshipped the calf even after clear signs had come to them; even so we forgave them; and gave Moses manifest proofs of authority.

              4:156 That they rejected Faith; that they uttered against Mary a grave false charge;

              4:159 And there is none of the People of the Book but must believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Judgment he will be a witness against them;-

              4:162 But those among them who are well-grounded in knowledge, and the believers, believe in what hath been revealed to thee and what was revealed before thee: And (especially) those who establish regular prayer and practise regular charity and believe in Allah and in the Last Day: To them shall We soon give a great reward.

              4:165 Apostles who gave good news as well as warning, that mankind, after (the coming) of the apostles, should have no plea against Allah: For Allah is Exalted in Power, Wise.

              4:168 Those who reject Faith and do wrong,- Allah will not forgive them nor guide them to any way-

              4:171 O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His apostles. Say not "Trinity" : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

              4:174 O mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: For We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest.

                  13:3 And it is He who spread out the earth, and set thereon mountains standing firm and (flowing) rivers: and fruit of every kind He made in pairs, two and two: He draweth the night as a veil o'er the Day. Behold, verily in these things there are signs for those who consider!

                  13:6 They ask thee to hasten on the evil in preference to the good: Yet have come to pass, before them, (many) exemplary punishments! But verily thy Lord is full of forgiveness for mankind for their wrong-doing, and verily thy Lord is (also) strict in punishment.

                  13:9 He knoweth the unseen and that which is open: He is the Great, the Most High.

                  13:12 It is He Who doth show you the lightning, by way both of fear and of hope: It is He Who doth raise up the clouds, heavy with (fertilising) rain!

                  13:15 Whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth do prostrate themselves to Allah (Acknowledging subjection),- with good-will or in spite of themselves: so do their shadows in the morning and evenings.

                  13:18 For those who respond to their Lord, are (all) good things. But those who respond not to Him,- Even if they had all that is in the heavens and on earth, and as much more, (in vain) would they offer it for ransom. For them will the reckoning be terrible: their abode will be Hell,- what a bed of misery!

                  13:21 Those who join together those things which Allah hath commanded to be joined, hold their Lord in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning;

                  13:24 "Peace unto you for that ye persevered in patience! Now how excellent is the final home!"

                  13:27 The Unbelievers say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Truly Allah leaveth, to stray, whom He will; But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence,-

                  13:30 Thus have we sent thee amongst a People before whom (long since) have (other) Peoples (gone and) passed away; in order that thou mightest rehearse unto them what We send down unto thee by inspiration; yet do they reject (Him), the Most Gracious! Say: "He is my Lord! There is no god but He! On Him is my trust, and to Him do I turn!"

                  13:33 Is then He who standeth over every soul (and knoweth) all that it doth, (like any others)? And yet they ascribe partners to Allah. Say: "But name them! is it that ye will inform Him of something he knoweth not on earth, or is it (just) a show of words?" Nay! to those who believe not, their pretence seems pleasing, but they are kept back (thereby) from the path. And those whom Allah leaves to stray, no one can guide.

                  13:36 Those to whom We have given the Book rejoice at what hath been revealed unto thee: but there are among the clans those who reject a part thereof. Say: "I am commanded to worship Allah, and not to join partners with Him. Unto Him do I call, and unto Him is my return."

                  13:39 Allah doth blot out or confirm what He pleaseth: with Him is the Mother of the Book.

                  13:42 Those before them did (also) devise plots; but in all things the master-planning is Allah's He knoweth the doings of every soul: and soon will the Unbelievers know who gets home in the end.

                    • shall we start with a book that seem to come up often in Ancient Alien or other Documentaries on the subject of Flunkch / Paranormal

                      The First Book of Moses, Called
                      Genesis

                      part 3

                      3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

                      6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

                      9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?

                      12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

                      15 and I will put enmity between thee and the woman,
                      and between thy seed and her seed;
                      it shall bruise thy head,
                      and thou shalt bruise his heel.

                      18 thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee;
                      and thou shalt eat the herb of the field:

                      21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.

                      24 So he drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

                      ---------------------

                      part 6

                      3 And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

                      6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

                      9 ¶ These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man 2 Pet. 2.5 and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

                      12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.

                      15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

                      18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

                      21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

                      -----------------

                      part 9

                      3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

                      6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, Ex. 20.13 by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

                      9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you;

                      12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you, and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

                      15 and I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.

                      18 ¶ And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

                      21 and he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

                      24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

                      27 God shall enlarge Japheth,
                      and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem;
                      and Canaan shall be his servant.

                        God's Call to Abram

                        3 and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed

                        6 And Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanite was then in the land.

                        9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

                        12 therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.

                        15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.

                        18 And Pharaoh called Abram, and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?

                        part 15

                        3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

                        6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness

                        9 And he said unto him, Take me a heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.

                        12 ¶ And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, a horror of great darkness fell upon him.

                        15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.

                        18 In that same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, Acts 7.5 from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphra'tes:

                        21 and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Gir'ga****es, and the Jeb'usites.

                        3 and said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:

                        6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

                        9 ¶ And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

                        12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord 1 Pet. 3.6 being old also?

                        15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.

                        18 seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

                        21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

                        24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?

                        27 And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, which am but dust and ashes:

                        30 And he said unto him, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there.

                        33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

                          21
                          The Birth of Isaac

                          3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

                          6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

                          9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had borne unto Abraham, mocking.

                          12 And God said unto Abraham, Let it not be grievous in thy sight because of the lad, and because of thy bondwoman; in all that Sarah hath said unto thee, hearken unto her voice; for in Isaac shall thy seed be called

                          15 ¶ And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs.

                          18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation.

                          21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the land of Egypt.

                          24 And Abraham said, I will swear.

                          27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abim'elech; and both of them made a covenant.

                          30 And he said, For these seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged this well

                          33 And Abraham planted a grove in Beer–sheba, and called there on the name of the LORD, the everlasting God.

                          part 24

                          3 and I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

                          6 And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.

                          9 And the servant put his hand under the thigh of Abraham his master, and sware to him concerning that matter.

                          12 And he said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham

                          15 ¶ And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethu'el, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder.

                          18 And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink.

                          21 And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not.

                          24 And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethu'el the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor.

                          27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

                          30 And it came to pass, when he saw the earring, and bracelets upon his sister's hands, and when he heard the words of Rebekah his sister, saying, Thus spake the man unto me, that he came unto the man; and, behold, he stood by the camels at the well.

                          33 And there was set meat before him to eat: but he said, I will not eat, until I have told mine errand. And he said, Speak on.

                          36 And Sarah my master's wife bare a son to my master when she was old: and unto him hath he given all that he hath.

                          39 And I said unto my master, Peradventure the woman will not follow me.

                          42 ¶ And I came this day unto the well, and said, O LORD God of my master Abraham, if now thou do prosper my way which I go:

                          45 ¶ And before I had done speaking in mine heart, behold, Rebekah came forth with her pitcher on her shoulder; and she went down unto the well, and drew water: and I said unto her, Let me drink, I pray thee.

                          48 And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master's brother's daughter unto his son.

                          51 Behold, Rebekah is before thee; take her, and go, and let her be thy master's son's wife, as the LORD hath spoken.

                          54 And they did eat and drink, he and the men that were with him, and tarried all night; and they rose up in the morning, and he said, Send me away unto my master.

                          57 And they said, We will call the damsel, and inquire at her mouth.

                          60 And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister; be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them.

                          63 And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming.

                          66 And the servant told Isaac all things that he had done.

                            3 now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;

                            6 And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,

                            9 Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savory meat for thy father, such as he loveth:

                            12 my father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.

                            15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:

                            18 ¶ And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?

                            21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.

                            24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.

                            27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said,
                            See, the smell of my son
                            is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:

                            30 ¶ And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.

                            33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.

                            36 And he said, Is not he rightly named Jacob? for he hath supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright; Gen. 25.29-34 and, behold, now he hath taken away my blessing. And he said, Hast thou not reserved a blessing for me?

                            39 ¶ And Isaac his father answered and said unto him,
                            Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth,
                            and of the dew of heaven from above;

                            42 And these words of Esau her elder son were told to Rebekah: and she sent and called Jacob her younger son, and said unto him, Behold, thy brother Esau, as touching thee, doth comfort himself, purposing to kill thee.

                            45 until thy brother's anger turn away from thee, and he forget that which thou hast done to him: then I will send, and fetch thee from thence: why should I be deprived also of you both in one day?

                              A feathered serpent deity has been worshipped by many different ethno-political groups in Mesoamerican history. The existence of such worship can be seen through studies of iconography of different Mesoamerican cultures, in which serpent motifs are frequent. On the basis of the different symbolic systems used in portrayals of the feathered serpent deity in different cultures and periods scholars have interpreted the religious and symbolic meaning of the feathered serpent deity in Mesoamerican cultures.

                                Too much of a good thing
                                Has really burnt me out
                                I'm sick of satisfaction
                                And living in a drought

                                Just be yourself
                                Anyway that you want to
                                Just be yourself
                                Anyway that you can
                                Just be yourself
                                Anyway that you want to, baby

                                The center of attention

                                The thirty of second floor
                                I'm standing on a ledge
