This image is usually associated with xanas who possess a treasure or those under a spell. So true. The 'forest empress' today lesser known qualities is that she helps the one's living and working in the forest. If she blows down the rifle pipe, it then afterwards never misses it's target (except the individual animals that she protects ). She will awaken the tree coal burners if their stack catches fire, and so on. In a sense, she may be Diana.

Odin hunts her like an animal, whenever he sees her, uncertain why. That says something about Odin, the great patriarc. In all his wisdom, he is also the ignorant male. Thankfully Freya is his anima and balance is restored.
