The first similarity is their description of an ascent of the soul that moves from reason to beyond reason, known to most as a mystical experience. In two of four experiments, university students were put in a materialistic frame of mind by tasks that exposed them to images of luxury goods or words mobilizing consumerist values (versus neutral scenes devoid of consumer products or words without such connotations). Completing questionnaires afterwards, those who looked at the pictures of cars, electronics, and jewelry rated themselves higher in depression and anxiety, less interested in social activities like parties, and more in solitary pursuits than the others. Those primed to materialism by exposure to certain words evinced more competitiveness and less desire to invest their time in pro-social activities like working for a good cause.

Such a self-energizing system could vastly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from coal-fired and natural-gas-powered plants.

But copper is temperamental: easily oxidized, as when an old penny turns green. As a result, the metal is unstable, which can significantly slow its reaction with carbon dioxide and produce unwanted byproducts such as carbon monoxide and formic acid.

Now researchers at MIT have come up with a solution that may further reduce the energy needed for copper to convert carbon dioxide, while also making the metal much more stable. The group has engineered tiny nanoparticles of copper mixed with gold, which is resistant to corrosion and oxidation. The researchers observed that just a touch of gold makes copper much more stable. In experiments, they coated electrodes with the hybrid nanoparticles and found that much less energy was needed for these engineered nanoparticles to react with carbon dioxide, compared to nanoparticles of pure copper.

Now a team of researchers is searching for siblings of the sun — stars born from the same parent star cluster — whose planets could have been impregnated with Earth life this way.
The sun's birth cluster

The sun is thought to have formed around 4.5 billion years ago within a cluster of thousands of baby stars. After around 1 billion years, this cluster broke up and the sibling stars went their separate ways. But before that point, researchers say, some of these stars may have shared life in the form of bacteria or DNA molecules.

"The idea is if a planet has life, like Earth, and if you hit it with an asteroid, it will create debris, some of which will escape into space," said astronomer Mauri Valtonen of the University of Turku in Finland. "And if the debris is big enough, like 1 meter across, it can shield life inside from radiation, and that life can survive inside for millions of years until that debris lands somewhere. Astronomers Discover Dwarf Sun Beyond Pluto

The idea of a new planet being discovered in our Solar System is pretty exciting. Even more so because of the many theories about "planet-x" or "Nibiru" being associated with space aliens and the doomsday prophecies of 2012.
Scientists at places like NASA and famous observatories have deflected inquiries about the discovery for a few years now, mainly because they feared being associated with these "fringe" theories. But like it or not -- it has happened. Well... according to a team of Spanish artronomers who call themselves the StarViewer Team.
The group made the rounds of all the news web sites in the past two weeks, claiming they discovered something very significant. It's almost twice the size of Jupiter and just beyond our furthest planetoid, Pluto. Although it's not a planet, it appears to have planets or large satellites encircling it. It's what astronomers call a "brown dwarf star" and its official name is "G1.9"

The newly discovered brown dwarf is reported to be located just about 60 to 66 AU (1 AU=the distance from the Sun to Earth) from us (its parigee), currently in the direction of the constellation Sagittarius. Because of periodic gravitational disturbances in areas of space further out, specifically in the Oort Cloud, the Spanish group of astronomers believe G1.9 travels in an elliptical orbit extending possibly hundreds of AU beyond the furthest known planets (its apogee). Its position just beyond Pluto suggests it is at its closest approach to the Sun and Earth.

I have always believed that aside from the spiritual awakening crop circles are presenting to people, the glyphs would one day provide new ideas for sustainable energy, if only we adopt an open-minded approach to their message. Such 'technology' is already used in resonance therapy, particularly in Germany, where the crop circles are known to carry biological codes that help revitalize natural systems in distress, such as dying forests and polluted rivers; people are also being cured through the combination of crop circles and resonance therapy, the results scientifically proved for at least a decade.

The Watchers' reference to new forms of technology to be deciphered from the glyphs during the first decade of the 21st century finds itself grounded in an unusual experiment by the psychopharmacologist Dennis McKenna, together with his philosopher brother Terence, who categorized and chronologically plotted the greatest discoveries and technological developments since 5000 BCE, then fed the information into a computer. Having digested the data, the computer provided a graphic printout showing how these discoveries fell into a hyperbolic curve that flattened out around 1975. Intrigued, they programmed the computer to project and predict future discoveries; this time the line took a dramatic upswing, flying off the scale at 2011, whereupon the predictions ended; during the last two hours of this time-scale, no less than 18 crucial discoveries are predicted, some rivaling the splitting of the atom. These accomplishments would be accompanied by transformations in human consciousness in the year marking the end of the Mayan calendar, which predicts this, the Age of Intellect, to be superseded by the Age of the Spirituality in 2012.

The McKennas' theory seems plausible, considering that in the sixty seven year cycle that includes the detonation of the atom bomb, technological and social breakthroughs have accelerated faster than the time between Galileo and Hiroshima. The dramatic and exponential rise in crop circles from the 1980s onwards may be part of this 'law of acceleration'. But there's more. Like the physicist Bohm, the McKenna brothers also present our Universe as a hologram, a creation of two intersecting hyper-Universes, in the same way a conventional hologram requires the intersecting of two lasers. The McKennas propose that our holographic Universe consists of 64 (8x8) frequencies, of which ours is but one. As these two hyper-Universes intersect in 'time', our DNA will need to evolve rapidly to cope with all 64 frequencies as they intersect, the event reaching its crescendo in 2012. This date came about when the McKennas programmed a computer with the 64 time systems, each based on the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching, which itself is a model of the physical structure of a single helical strand of DNA (see The Invisible Landscape).

It's nice to know sometimes a slower wave can be surfed in-phase with a faster wave, and resonate

The first picture is of the first three octaves on Russell's periodic table, blown up to be poster sized. I colored in red and orange for visibillity's sake (no other reason I could think of)



And I hope to show you tomorrow the larger sized poster, when there is better light to see all the colors, how russell -- and this crop circle are showing the same process of matter asorbing cosmic radiation into form, and decelerating it for the purpose of sustaining form.



and finally, resuming the state of "space" which we know as "vacuum", along the "line of inertia" down the "dead center", as alphanon, or omeganon -- only to play a part in the one's cosmic drama all over again.

If you will note in all the octaves, the "noble gases" which Russell said were nature's record-keeping system, are always slightly off, to the right or left of the "line of inertia".
Alphanon, and omeganon -- the beginning, and the end, respectively, while being the same "thing" in the plane of inertia -- are the only ones on the "dead center" of the "line of inertia"
