Superstition legends


The legend of the Lost Dutchman's Gold Mine centers around the Superstition Mountains. According to the legend, a German immigrant named Jacob Waltz discovered a mother lode in the Superstition Wilderness and revealed its location on his deathbed in Phoenix in 1891 to Julia Thomas, a boarding-house owner who had taken care of him for many years. Several mines have been claimed to be the actual mine that Walzer discovered, but none of those claims have been verified.[1]

Some Apaches believe that the hole leading down into the lower world is located in the Superstition Mountains. Winds blowing from the hole are supposed to be the cause of severe dust storms.[

The Carnac stones are an exceptionally dense collection of megalithic sites around the French village of Carnac, in Brittany, consisting of alignments, dolmens, tumuli and single menhirs. The more than 3,000 prehistoric standing stones were hewn from local rock and erected by the pre-Celtic people of Brittany, and are the largest such collection in the world.[1] Most of the stones are within the Breton village of Carnac, but some to the east are within La Trinité-sur-Mer. The stones were erected at some stage during the Neolithic period, probably around 3300 BC, but some may date to as old as 4500 BC.[2]

Space scientist, filmmaker and mystic ecologist David Sereda discussed his latest research on differentials, energy, and the hidden codes in the Universe, as well as how sunspot activity is
affecting the Earth. Based on his observance of solar activity, he said he's been able to predict various earthquakes such as the ones in Chile, and Haiti, as well as other Earth disasters.
"There was a million-mile kilometer long snake, called a filament, hanging out of one of these...sunspots," he explained, adding that when this filament collapses it can lead to a rare eruption
on the sun called a hydra-flare. The charged plasma wave from the flare takes 3-4 days to get here, and Sereda predicted that something huge was coming, "and sure enough, that was Chile-- 8.8," he

He's also matched past major disasters such the December 26, 2004 Tsunami to a massive eruption on the sun. A Boeing scientist who has been witness to some of his predictions believes this theory
needs to be submitted for research at USGS, he reported. By monitoring the sun and predicting events, Sereda hopes that the global mind can affect and help diminish the power of these potential
disasters before they happen, and has seen some success in this regard.

Sereda also spoke about harmonic ratios in the universe, and how zero point energy might be approached by building a wave generator that produces certain vibrations or infinities. In regard to
life beyond Earth, he suggested that exotic life forms could exist based on other ratios, such as planetary-sized watery beings that might thrive in a galactic black hole.

The mica group of sheet silicate (phyllosilicate) minerals includes several closely related materials having close to perfect basal cleavage. All are monoclinic, with a tendency towards pseudohexagonal crystals, and are similar in chemical composition. The highly perfect cleavage, which is the most prominent characteristic of mica, is explained by the hexagonal sheet-like arrangement of its atoms.

The word "mica" is derived from the Latin word mica, meaning "a crumb", and probably influenced by micare, "to glitter".[1]

Human use of mica dates back to prehistoric times. Mica was known to ancient Indian, Egyptian, Greek and Roman and Chinese civilizations, as well as the Aztec civilization of the New World.

The earliest use of mica has been found in cave paintings created during the Upper Paleolithic period (40,000 BC to 10,000 BC). The first hues were red (iron oxide, hematite, or red ochre) and black (manganese dioxide, pyrolusite), though black from juniper or pine carbons has also been discovered. White from kaolin or mica was used occasionally.

A few kilometers northeast of Mexico City stands the ancient site of Teotihuacan. The most striking visual and striking structure of Teotihuacan is the towering Pyramid of the Sun. The pyramid contained considerable amounts of mica in layers up to 30 cm (12 in) thick.[15]

Natural mica was and is still used by the Taos and Picuris Pueblos Indians in north-central New Mexico to make pottery. The pottery is made from weathered Precambrian mica schist, and has flecks of mica throughout the vessels. Tewa Pueblo pottery is made by coating the clay with mica to provide a dense-glittery micaceous finish over the entire object ( see clay + Magnetite ) .[6]

Properties and uses

The mica group represents 37 phyllosilicate minerals that have a layered or platy texture. The commercially important micas are muscovite and phlogopite, which are used in a variety of applications. Mica’s value is based on several of its unique physical properties. The crystalline structure of mica forms layers that can be split or delaminated into thin sheets usually causing foliation in rocks. These sheets are chemically inert, dielectric, elastic, flexible, hydrophilic, insulating, lightweight, platy, reflective, refractive, resilient, and range in opacity from transparent to opaque. Mica is stable when exposed to electricity, light, moisture, and extreme temperatures. It has superior electrical properties as an insulator and as a dielectric, and can support an electrostatic field while dissipating minimal energy in the form of heat; it can be split very thin (0.025 to 0.125 millimeters or thinner) while maintaining its electrical properties, has a high dielectric breakdown, is thermally stable to 500 °C, and is resistant to corona discharge. Muscovite, the principal mica used by the electrical industry, is used in capacitors that are ideal for high frequency and radio frequency. Phlogopite mica remains stable at higher temperatures (to 900 °C) and is used in applications in which a combination of high-heat stability and electrical properties is required. Muscovite and phlogopite are used in sheet and ground forms.[7]

New study reveals responses of genes in females to sex

Sex can trigger remarkable female responses including altered fertility, immunity, libido, eating and sleep patterns—by the activation of diverse sets of genes, according to research from the University of East Anglia.

They discovered that a single protein found in semen generates a wide range of responses in many genes in females, which become apparent at different times and in different parts of the female's body following mating.

The findings could in principle be akin to responses in many animals, including humans, where sperm and semen is released inside the female's body during sex.

Lead researcher Prof Tracey Chapman, from UEA's school of Biological Sciences, said: "It's already known that seminal fluid proteins transferred from males during mating cause remarkable effects in females – including altered egg laying, feeding, immunity, sleep patterns, water balance and sexual receptivity.

"We tested here the effects of one enigmatic seminal fluid protein, known as the 'sex peptide', and found it to change the expression of a remarkable array of many genes in females – both across time and in different parts of the body.

Qigong and Chinese medicine place huge emphasis on a form of energy called 精 (pinyin: jīng, also a morpheme denoting "essence" or "spirit") - which one attempts to develop and accumulate. "Jing" is sexual energy and is considered to dissipate with ejaculation so masturbation is considered "energy suicide" amongst those who practice this art.

According to Qigong theory, energy from many pathways/meridians becomes diverted and transfers itself to the sexual organs during sexual excitement. The ensuing orgasm and ejaculation will then finally expel the energy from the system completely. The Chinese proverb 一滴精,十滴血 (pinyin: yě dī jīng, shí dī xuč, literally: a drop of semen is equal to ten drops of blood) illustrates this point.

In Ancient Greece, Aristotle remarked on the importance of semen: "For Aristotle, semen is the residue derived from nourishment, that is of blood, that has been highly concocted to the optimum temperature and substance. This can only be emitted by the male as only the male, by nature of his very being, has the requisite heat to concoct blood into semen." According to Aristotle, there is a direct connection between food and semen: "Sperms are the excretion of our food, or to put it more clearly, as the most perfect component of our food."

The connection between food and physical growth, on the one hand, and semen, on the other, allows Aristotle to warn against "engagin sexual activity at too early an age ... [since this will affect the growth of their bodies. Nourishment that would otherwise make the body grow is diverted to the production of semen.... Aristotle is saying that at this stage the ''body'' is still growing; it is best for sexual activity to begin when its growth is 'no longer abundant', for when the body is more or less at full height, the transformation of nourishment into semen does not drain the body of needed material."

Additionally, "Aristotle tells us that the region round the eyes was the region of the head most fruitful of seed ("most seedy" σπερματικώτατος), pointing to generally recognised effects upon the eyes of sexual indulgence and to practices which imply that seed comes from liquid in the region of the eyes." Warrain points out that the number 6 is the only number able to satisfy the equality:

in which n = 3. 1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [195], of ..., Ohio, and drawing of [4666] Motor Cam and lead arrangement on chair in this room. Also exposition or theories of operating force written by [195], which I hold in my hand. You will answer the questions I ask relative to motor and to theories, and enlarge or correct the exposition of same.

2. EC: Yes, we have the enquiring mind, [195]. This we have had before. Also the drawing of [4666] Motor Cam and leads. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Will model motor work as at present drawn?
(A) As at present drawn, we find these should work. In the relationship of radius as seen on drawing, that of A B C would be the nearer correct radial than R S T. Those in the larger radial, as we find, are approximately in the proper proportion for the proper operating of cams and leads. The shaft as marked in H, in the proper relationship to the leads and ends, as seen.

4. (Q) Is curve D E F of too short or too long a radius?
(A) This as given here the better radial seen in the conditions for proper operations.

5. (Q) Are radii O P Q and K L M in larger segments of cams approximately correct?
(A) As given.

6. (Q) Is H length of rod connecting lead to cam of sufficient length?
(A) As given.

7. (Q) On page 2 of theory is the assumption of octave law in lines 10 to 15 correct? Enlarge on this.
(A) These are correct, in line with that of vibration as is changed into usable forces as would be radiated from such elements as seen. Or, to enlarge upon the theory as latent and as changed into a force as usable as a motive force, these may be well illustrated by that same condition as exists in natural law as to why the needle points toward north. In the radial force of the axis of the earth there is seen that the force from which this planet is kept in motion is radiated through, or from, that directive force. Hence the constant draw, pull, in that direction. Just as is seen in gravitation in ITS active law in drawing all to the earth according to its capacity of displacement as relative to the elements that go to make up the density of the object; yet each are relativity of forces one with another, employing all of the elements in their various octave of density( sounds very Keely like ) to combine in their active principle of weight; [See 195-54, Par. 15-A] yet each of these same laws are in the same relative position to that law of the needle point, and that of gravitation to the radius about which the object is radiating or being drawn to the radial center. Hence these conditions, applied now to the [4666] motor and the operative force, keeping same in direct contact, as does gravitation and the needle or the compass point. So, as was given, that compass point has much to do in the active force, as a RELATIVITY; not as to whether it turns north, east, south or west - for, as gravitation - whether north, east, south or west - acts in the same capacity; so as in gravitation active forces, as that of the needle, compass, always in its same relative position or condition, for or through the radial forces of its active principle. So in its form, with the radial activity of octave force, as is seen in the curves as come about the radial center from which the active principle brings one lead in connection with the next, see? and in their turn about the LARGER radial center brings again that same active force in connection WITH the elements through which the active principle operates. [See 195-54, Par. 16-A] Hence that as is given, when each radial center in cam, in leads, are in that same potential relative position OF, the power IN its activity is in accord with those latent forces as are seen and put in motion through the magnification of the synthetic forces, or syncopathic [syncopatic] forces, are brought into active principles. 8. (Q) On page 3, is Latent Force Theory correct?
(A) Correct, and - as we have seen - that through which latent forces finding its expansion.

9. (Q) On page 3, is Sympathetic Vibration Theory correct?
(A) That as given shows how sympathetic vibration in its simplicity is in activity as a usable force, as stated; yet, WITH the radial activity OF the latent forces given in the sympathetic, or synthetic, or syncothetic [?] [synchronous?] conditions, brings then the proper relations, which makes same into a USABLE force. Build upon the principle here set forth. Set out in that as the active principle, the combination of relativity of elements WITH the active force of sympathetic vibration BRINGING the two INTO relations that make a usable motive force, as may be applied in the various forms to ANY active principle.
