There are various exercises you can do.
To send your amygdla backwards, smell something very revolting like rotten garbage. To send them forward, smell a flower, essential oil or choclate chip cookies baking, something that is pleasing to you.
Mental exercise, imagine a feather tickling your amygdla's to the point you really feel it. The Brain does not know the difference!
