    THE SECRET OF LIFE
    By Georges Lakhovsky

    p 3 / 67

    UNIVERSAL RADIATION IN LIVING BEINGS
What then is this universal radiation in living beings? My theory expounds in simple terms
its fundamental principles and discloses its nature. In deriving support from the most recent
discoveries in the domain of radiations, my theory demonstrates, with the aid of elementary
    analogies
, that the cell, essential organic unit in all living beings, is nothing but an electromagnetic
resonator, capable of emitting and absorbing radiations of very high frequency.

Cer nun nos is the conventional name given in Celtic studies to depictions of the "horned god" of Celtic polytheism. The name itself is only attested once, on the 1st-century Pillar of the Boatmen, but depictions of a horned or antlered figure, often seated cross-legged and often associated with animals and holding or wearing torcs, are known from other instances.

Nothing is known about the god from literary sources, and details about his name, his cult or his significance in Celtic religion are unknown. Speculative interpretations identify him as a god of nature or fertility.[1]

The universal currents conditioning the movement of worlds, they affect the earth and we must be grateful for without them we would go into the infinite. When there is a lack of accord between them we feel annoying effects; tidal waves, earthquakes and even stranger the appearance of social disturbance. This brings to mind a conversation had between M. Rota, Commandant Lachouque and myself, the first time that the latter took me to Mont-Saint-Aignan.

We enter, said he, a period from 1936 to 1946 where certain currents in certain places and at certain dates will produce strange effects. For example, I am able, to indicate that there will be the reappearance of events where suddenly an individual considered up to that point normal will massacre anyone using the first instrument of death which is at hand”.
    What are the Universal Currents

According to M. Rota they are constant in their direction, but variable in their intensity and density, depending on the time and place. They are at the origin of worlds, assuring the mechanism of the universe and dispensers of life and death.

The characteristic of a current at a given époque ( see our discussion and Harmonic Math ) and in a given place are reproduced with a frequency which it has been possible to determine. The laws which govern them are in effect immutable.

The Universal Currents create, maintain, modify, remove organic and inorganic life on the earth. The variations of intensity and density which occur are the causes of the actions and reactions which operate the one upon the other according to the place and époque. They give rise to phenomena which can be verified without being able always to explain them ( see also Astrotheology ) .

It is true that the equinoxes are the period where M. Rota passes his days and nights leaning over his apparatus because certain universal currents at that time reach formidable intensities.

The first leafy swastika was found by a landscaping company intern in 1992. Ökoland Dederow saw the symbol while searching aerial photographs for irrigation lines.

The swastika was made of 140 larches in the center of a large pine forest.

The forest swastika was a patch of larch trees covering 3,600 m2 (4,300 sq yd) area of pine forest near Zernikow, Uckermark district, Brandenburg, in northeastern Germany, carefully arranged to look like a swastika.
            Similar incidents[edit]

In September 2006 The New York Times reported on another forest swastika in Eki Naryn, Kyrgyzstan, on the edge of the Himalayas.41.448°N 76.391°E. The mirror-image fir tree swastika is about 600 feet across. Myths and legends abound about how and when the swastika came to be planted in Soviet territory.[4]

              Why moderate beliefs rarely prevail

(Phys.org)—We live in a world of extremes, where being fervently for or against an issue often becomes the dominant social ideology – until an opposing belief that is equally extreme emerges to challenge the first one, eventually becoming the new social paradigm. And so the cycle repeats ( Anisotropy ), with one ideological extreme replacing another, and neither delivering a sustainable solution. Political revolutions, economic bubbles, booms and busts in consumer confidence, and short-lived reforms such as Prohibition in the US all follow this kind of cycle. Why, researchers want to know, does a majority of the population not settle on an intermediate position that blends the best of the old and new?
"For many political issues, economic policies, ethical questions, and allocations of funding, for example, the middle road or 'golden mean' between extremes has advantages over either extreme ," Seth Marvel of the University of Michigan, lead author of a recent study on moderation, told Phys.org. "Furthermore, there are cases – say, with economic policies for instance – where swinging between extremes is costly in itself."

In their paper published in Physical Review Letters, Marvel and his coauthors from the US and Korea explain that there are several ways to explain why few people embrace moderation, but here they give a purely mathematical answer using a "model of ideological revolution." The model reveals that successive ideological revolutions take place in an environment that is not conducive to moderate beliefs. Even when the researchers adjust the model to encourage moderation, eventually the moderate population will almost always either fail to sufficiently expand or collapse altogether.

                  Elohi M.....

"Warriors Of The Rainbow" There is only one human tribe, one earth., page 1

According to this legend, the time has arrived for us to teach the world our ways. It is the last only hope we have for saving this world we live in. Read the legend below:

"Last century an old wise woman of the Cree Indian nation, named "Eyes of Fire" ( or FA ) , had a vision of the future. She prophesied that one day, because of the Yo-ne-gis' greed, there would come a time, when the earth being ravaged and polluted, the forests being destroyed, the birds would fall from the air, the waters would be blackened, the fish being poisoned in the streams, and the trees would no longer be, mankind as we would know it would all but cease to exist. There would come a time when the "keepers of the legend, stories, culture rituals, and myths, and all the Ancient Tribal Customs" would be needed to restore us to health, making the earth green again. They would be mankind's key to survival, they were the "Warriors of the Rainbow". There would come a day of awakening when all the peoples of all the tribes would form a New World of Justice, Peace, Freedom and recognition of the Great Spirit.
The "Warriors of the Rainbow" would spread these messages and teach all peoples of the Earth or "Elohi"

In the marriage of heaven and earth, the King's downward thrust meets the Queen's upward arch, and the newlyweds tangle violently, like fighting lions, dogs, dragons or wolves. Indeed the King must die at the moment of consummation: Some say Cupid's dart, the telum passionis, pierces his heart. Others say the groom's head is bitten off by the Bride-snake. Yet others say he is torn by black dogs of Hecate, as Actaeon was after he feasted on the naked form of Artemis, for such is the fate of whoever is Betrothed to the Moon (Lunae Sponsus). The Bride of the Sun (Soli Sponsa) in turn is fated to die in childbirth, and so the two souls of the parents yield to the one soul of the Child. King Consciousness loses his absolute authority, as in turn does Queen Unconsciousness; with the Child there will be a balance of psychic powers. (Jung, MC 29-34, 295, 304, 360, 380)

Who was Ashera Kandishu where Aicha kond Ischa has gone from up? Do:

Groves. Ashera or Asherah also; Aherah. Birth Goddess heaven and goddess of the Phoenicians and the Israelites. Her name refers to the tree trunks ( see druidai ) in the Semitic religion and goddess were venerated. Asherah also meant fig tree. The name derives from a word meaning "upright" means. It can also "woman" or "ruler" mean. It is also associated with the Old Iranian "Asha," Universal Law ", similar to the Roman ius naturale.
The word "Asherah" in the Old Testament is translated as "forest" or "trunk". The Sacred Grove represented the birthplace of everything, it was a representation of the genital region of the goddess. The Hebrews worshiped the Goddess, especially in these sacred forests, as the Bible shows. This forest was called Athra qaddis, 'sacred place', according to Walker, it was also called the vulva. The literal translation is "divine ****'. Yam Asherah was the goddess of birth, patroness of fishermen and sailors and goddess of the sea (especially on the coast). She was also goddess of wisdom, with wisdom, she was "ruler of the gods." She was honored in Phoenicia (Ugarit) by the Canaanites in Palestine and by the Hebrews.
Forms of her name were Athirat (Hebrew: Ugarit), or Atharat Athirat, Athra or Aethra, Athyr, and the Egyptian Hathor. Walker mentions that she also appeared in Egypt as Asjesj, an ancient form of Isis, she had been given the post of wetgeefster. Asjesj both translate as "pour" if by "supply", which is the function of her breasts. A shrine at Thebes was called Asjer, or Asjrel Asjrelt.

Rare manuscript by Italian master found

A University of Manchester academic has discovered an important and previously unknown manuscript by one of the medieval period's greatest thinkers, who was born 700 years ago this year.

Dr Guyda Armstrong, Senior Lecturer in Italian, identified the uncatalogued manuscript by Giovanni Boccaccio in the University's world famous John Rylands Library.

An Italian author and poet, Boccaccio wrote works still influential today, including the Decameron, On Famous Women, and his Elegy of Madonna Fiammetta.

The manuscript, 'Des cas des nobles hommes et femmes', is a copy of a rare 1400 translation of the 'De casibus virorum illustrium', made by the French humanist and courtier Laurent de Premierfait.

The uncatalogued manuscript has been kept at the Library since 1963. Its existence was previously known only to a few curators, before its significance was identified by Dr Armstrong. Library staff helped her identify its provenance.

Jealousy can drive us to view ourselves more like our rivals

If you see your partner flirt with someone else, you may feel hurt, angry, and jealous. The last thing you might expect is to start thinking of yourself more like your rival. New research suggests just that: that jealousy can prompt people to change how they view themselves relative to competitors for their partners' attention.

Previous research has shown that individuals often will change their self-views to be more similar to someone to whom they want to get closer, such as a romantic partner. "However, a rival isn't someone that individuals should like, let alone want to affiliate with," Erica Slotter of Villanova University. "This work was really novel in that we were looking at whether individuals would be willing to shift their self-views to be more similar to a romantic rival."

Across three studies published online today in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Slotter and colleagues tested what happens to people when in a jealous state. They predicted that individuals would only change their self-views if they thought their partner was interested in someone else. "This meant that individuals should not change their self-views if someone flirts with their partner, but the partner doesn't respond with interest," Slotter says.

On July 9, 2013, at 11:09 a.m. EDT, the sun erupted with an Earth-directed coronal mass ejection or CME, a solar phenomenon that can send billions of tons of particles into space that can reach Earth one to three days later. These particles cannot travel through the atmosphere to harm humans on Earth, but they can affect electronic systems in satellites and on the ground.

Sura al-Baqarah (Arabic: سورة البقرة‎, Sūratu l-Baqarah, "The Cow") is the second and longest chapter of the Qur'an. It is a Medinan sura, with the exception of verse 281 which was revealed during the The Farewell Pilgrimage.[1] It is also considered to be one of the first chapters revealed after the Hijra from Mecca to Medina.[2] The chapter comprises 286 verses according to the division of Ali, the most widely accepted count among all Muslim demoninations,[1] and includes the single longest verse in the Qur'an (2:282).[3] The sura's name references verses 66–72 which recall the story of a heifer sacrificed by the Israelites.[1]

Other notable passages include the famous āyat al-kursī or "Throne Verse", as well as the closing two verses which outline the six articles of belief before forming a prayer for forgiveness, divine mercy [4]

                            Etymology 1[edit]

From Middle English love, luve, from Old English lufu (“love, affection, desire”), from Proto-Germanic *lubō (“love”), from Proto-Indo-European *lewbʰ-, *leubʰ- (“love, care, desire”). Cognate with Old Frisian luve (“love”), Old High German luba (“love”). Related to Old English lēof (“dear, beloved”), līefan (“to allow, approve of”), Latin libet, lubō (“to please”) and Albanian lyp (“to beg, ask insistently”), lips (“to be demanded, needed”), Serbo-Croatian ljubiti, ljubav, Russian любовь, любить.

                            Etymology 2[edit]

From Middle English loven, lovien, from Old English lufian (“to love, cherish, sow love to; fondle, caress; delight in, approve, practice”), from the noun lufu (“love”). See above. Compare West Frisian leavje (“to love”), German lieben (“to love”).

(transitive) To have a strong affection for.
                            I love my spouse.

(transitive, colloquial) To be strongly inclined towards something; an emphatic form of like.
I love walking barefoot on wet grass.
I'd love to join the team.
I love what you've done with your hair.
(transitive) To care deeply about, to be dedicated to.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. " (John 3:16)
"You shall love the Lord your God with your whole heart, and your whole mind, and your whole soul; you shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Matt. 22:37-38)
(transitive) To derive delight from a fact or situation.
I love the fact that the coffee shop now offers fat-free chai latte.
                            (transitive) To lust for.

                            Etymology 3[edit]

From Middle English loven, lovien, from Old English lofian (“to praise, exalt, appraise, value”), from Proto-Germanic *lubōną (“to praise, vow”), from *lubą (“praise”), from Proto-Indo-European *leubʰ- (“to like, love, desire”), *lewbʰ-. Cognate with Scots love, lofe (“to praise, honour, esteem”), Dutch loven (“to praise”), German loben (“to praise”), Swedish lova (“to promise, pledge”), Icelandic lofa (“to promise”). See also lofe.
                            Etymology 4[edit]

From the phrase Neither for love nor for money, meaning "nothing".

The previously held belief that it originated from the French term l’œuf (“the egg”), due to its shape, is no longer widely accepted
                            .

                            ---------------

A life without love is a waste. “Should I look for spiritual love, or material, or physical love?”, don’t ask yourself this question. Discrimination leads to discrimination. Love doesn’t need any name, category or definition. Love is a world itself. Either you are in, at the center…either you are out, yearning.

                            6 - Love

                            Interpretation
Eros, the power of conjunction, an agent or alter-ego of the Magician, brings about the sacred marriage of the opposites. Here we see the Sun and Moon, representing the masculine and feminine unconscious, greeting each other, stripped of all deception. This is not a conscious decision, for Eros pierces the unconscious of both the man and the woman, so that each is compelled to acknowledge the other. In this way all the opposites are unified: male and female, conscious and unconscious, thought and feeling, intuition and sensation.

The second king named in Plato’s account of Atlantis, Kritias. Gadeiros was
assigned to a region of south-Atlantic Spain, and the modern city of Cadiz
                              is
indeed the ancient Gades known to the Romans. But the name is found elsewhere
throughout the Atlantean sphere of influence. Agadir is in Tunisia, while
another Agadir, a southern port in Morocco, was utterly destroyed during a

town Porto Galli (“Port of the Gauls”), from which derives modern Portugal.
Eventually they moved into the Continent to become the earliest leaders of the

merge with history at this point when we consider Celtic origins in the early 12th
century B.C. Tumulus culture—the same period that witnessed the dispersal of
                              Atlanteans from their engulfed homeland.
Hu-Gadarn is mentioned in the Welsh Hanes Taliesan, the “Tale of Taliesan,”
where he is known as Little Gwion. If this affectionate diminutive seems derivative
of the Trojan capital, Ilios, (Wilion in Hittite and perhaps the Trojan language, as
well), the impression is deepened when Hu-Gadarn says, “I am now come here to
the remnant of Troia.” Troy was allied with Atlantis through common blood-ties
(See Electra). Although Hu-Gadarn is regarded as the first ancestor of the Cymry,
the Welsh people, his Atlantean identity is no less apparent: “I have been fostered
in the Ark,” he confesses. Hanes Taliesan reports, “He had been fostered between
the knees of Dylan and the Deluge,” arriving in Wales after a worldwide flood
whipped up by a monstrous serpent.
“Hu” was not part of his name, but rather a title referring to his royal lineage.
So, the Welsh Gadarn and Plato’s Gadeiros, both kings, appear to be one and the
                              same monarch
                              .

Origin Of 'Mercury' Meteorite Still Puzzles Scientists : NPR

A strange green rock discovered in Morocco last year was hailed by the press as the first meteorite from Mercury. But scientists who've been puzzling over the stone ever since say the accumulating evidence may point in a different direction. Maybe, just maybe, they say, the 4.56-billion-year-old rock fell to Earth from the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter.

If that's true, the rock is "still extremely interesting," says Tim McCoy, who curates the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History's collection of 35,000 meteorites. "[It] tells us something about the birth of the solar system, but not the birth of the innermost planet."

The olive green meteorite, flecked with bits of white and brown, first came to scientists' attention last year when a German collector, Stefan Ralew, saw the unusual stone in Morocco and shipped it off for analysis to Tony Irving, a geochemist and meteorite specialist affiliated with the University of Washington in Seattle. Irving routinely receives such packages from all over the world.

1880 Near Loch Maree and Victoria Falls, Scotland, the hollow impression that would be left by double bars of iron placed closely together was reported. The observation was corroborated years later when micro-specks of iron oxide were taken from the impression cavities. The bands occur high above the falls in an almost totally inaccessible place, where a "structure" would serve little purpose. The sandstone in the impressions show tiny striations, which are really the preserved grain marks of the iron, indicated the metal had been impressed in the primordial sand, before solidification took place. The sandstone in which the bands occur is Cambrian dating to 600 million years old.

Hexactinellid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hexactinellid sponges are sponges with a skeleton made of four- and/or six-pointed siliceous spicules, often referred to as glass sponges. They are usually classified along with other sponges in the phylum Porifera, but some researchers consider them sufficiently distinct to deserve their own phylum, Symplasma.
Glass sponges are relatively uncommon and are mostly found at depths from 450 to 900 metres (1,480 to 3,000 ft) although the species Oopsacas minuta has been found in shallow water, while others have been found much deeper. They are found in all oceans of the world, although they are particularly common in Antarctic waters.[1]

They are more-or-less cup-shaped animals, ranging from 10 to 30 centimetres (3.9 to 12 in) in height, with sturdy lattice-like internal skeletons made up of fused spicules of silica. The body is relatively symmetrical, with a large central cavity that, in many species, opens to the outside through a sieve formed from the skeleton. Unlike other sponges, they tend to be present as individuals, rather than forming large fused colonies. They are generally pale in colour.[1]

Much of the body is composed of syncitia, extensive regions of multinucleate cytoplasm. In particular, the epidermal cells of other sponges are absent, being replaced by a syncitial net of amoebocytes, through which the spicules penetrate. Unlike other sponges, they do not possess the ability to contract.[1]

One ability they possess is a unique system for rapidly conducting electrical impulses across their bodies, making it possible for them to respond quickly to external stimuli. Glass sponges like "Venus' Flower Basket" have a tuft of fibers that extends outward like an inverted crown at the base of their skeleton. These fibers are 50 to 175 millimetres (2.0 to 6.9 in) long and about the thickness of a human hair.
