Why am i experiencing vibrational sensations?

Does anyone have any theories as to what may be happening to me?

I have been getting strange vibration and electrical tingling feeling while asleep, at times while awake and when i am in between sleep and awake state (kind of when i can't really fall into a deep sleep). It starts in one area and envelops my whole body.

I have searched neurological and medical boards only to discover this is happening to alot of people and doctors don't seem to have any explanation for it even after running countless neurological tests in which the person was deemed to have nothing "abnormal".
Then they diagnose everyone with the same thing--"anxiety", which seems to be the catch-all diagnosis these days and then promptly put them on anti-depressant pills etc.

I don't feel depressed or anxious and haven't had any "traumatic" event happen to me recently.

I also have no other symptoms other than a strange vibration and electrical tingling that sometimes starts in my back and flows through my body and sometimes starts at the top of my head.

Last night i panicked a bit when i not only felt the sensations but also felt as though i was floating, as if my body became very light and then felt a "presence" in the room.

ABSOLUTELY FRIGHTENING!

In trying to search for what is happening to me i came across this site and others that describe my symptoms as part of an out-of-body experience.

If this is some sort of astral projection or OBE--- I'LL PASS!!
As a spiritual (Christian) all i can say is that is like playing with fire.

I'll venture an explanation and a question:

You are raising your vibrational state to adapt to a coming event...the end of the dream state (as aborigines call it, or is it the beginning). Have you tried to follow the sensation and guide it...

I have had that same thing happen to me. You get this buzzing feeling and it kinda feels like your getting a cold. But wears off quickly after you wake up.

I do believe it's an astral projection/OBE thing about to happen. One time I caught my self out of my body floating around in the place where I worked. I was napping in my car. There was actually 2 of me in the plant. One of me was up in the corner laughing at the other me on the floor as I was checking the status of the loading system that I was in charge of.

Kinda cool actually. Nothing to worry about IMO.

I also wanted to mention my opinion that you could research OBE's. To me that's what it sounds like is going on. If you are reaching that state then with a little effort you can learn to have a full OBE. ;-)

I think that some of it might be related to energy upgrades that is being done on this planet at this time, I can feel those too, especially stronger in my hands. I can feel it on my toes, when I want to sleep. All I can say that it is good. Maybe it is your guides sending you energy. Who knows. If I were you would tell it: plz do the best you can do for my body and soul, and cleanse anything that does not belong.

I've had a several experiences the last couple of months. several weeks back, i woke up and my palms were really pulsing. i'd never felt anything like that in my life..i was worried, so i looked it up and they say that happens to people when they are under stress, which i was at the time, so i took that as the answer. But even that doesnt add up, i mean ive been stressed worse before and never felt anything like that. The sensation or vibration was just unbelievably strong. I know stress does play a role with your nervous system and muscle signals, it will do things like make your muscles twitch.

I've never experienced an OBE, but i have felt other strong vibrational sensations lately. I noticed yesterday, out of the blue, that i was getting a really strong vibration out of silence, even with the tv on in the background if you actually focus on the silence you can hear the vibration. For some reason it was really strong yesterday and i could feel it pulsing.

It reminded me of this exercise I used to do with my bedroom fan-light, it wasnt too bright and i would look directly at the globe, i would focus on it and out of the corner of my eyes i could tell by the reflection on the walls the light itself would begin pulsing, i was never certain though if it was the light or my eyes, I wanted to record the walls to make sure but..the fan fixture died shortly after. not the bulb but the entire fixture, so i took that as my answer. now im using lamps lol.

I've also noticed this same pulsing pattern with telekinesis, if i leave an object balanced it will pulse back and forth (a half 180 degree rotation, then back the opposit direction), its unusually uniform.

If you read Robert Monroe's books (who coined OOBE or out of body experience) you'll find the vibrations like this are very typical of the state you will be in just before an OOBE. This is usually when you are close to sleep but still conscious. On the other hand one must be discerning to make sure it is not a physical problem that is causing this. If it only occurs after relaxing and getting close to sleep it is probably an OOBE waiting to happen.

Your chi is opening or your kundalini is rising. I suggest you focus your attention at the third eye and go with the flow. You can't fight it for the moment. Try not to be afraid and pray for inner help to allow this to go its course.

Everything is SHABD or light and sound principal. You are experiencing this now.

Do you study or do yoga, martial arts, chi kung, meditation or the like? Do you have a spiritual teacher or Guru?

Also I would suggest you find a Master of Acupuncture who KNOWS CHI and its circulation for help and advice. They are rare but most big cities will have someone (mostly Chinese) who may be Chi Kung Acupuncturists.

Once again may I suggest you to sit up when this happens and focus to your third eye and pray to GOD to channel this energy properly.

That is a good thing! I listen to a repeated 3 minute section of a monroe institute binaural track and hold my two crystals in each hand. I vibrate like crazy starting with my hands. It varies every night due to outside energy influences. I have used this state as a tool of self-development, healing, and communication.

The western medical profession is a "monkey see - monkey do" approach. They only know what they have been taught. Once in while, a new monkey will learn something new and pass it on to all the other monkeys.

There are forms of energy that main stream scientists have no belief in or knowledge about. They exist just the same.

Well there's your problem! Your belief system might have you trapped in a box. As Terrence McKenna said, "Culture is not your friend". I could point you to movies that would expand your awareness of the Universe, but ultimately it is your responsibility to learn, change, and grow. electricity, not been able to move ur body and floting sensation, is probably an stage of an astral travel.

you know... you can leave your body and travel where every you like, its kind of dangerous but, it exist.

I have also had the same experience. It's been coming from different parts of the body, mostly the chest. First, it woke me up almost every night for several months and felt like really fast heartbeatings. Too fast to be possible. I had to check my pulse at the wrist just to make sure, and my heartbeat rate was completely normal, still my chest was pounding maybe 3-4 times faster. I have had the feeling in my hands, in my left half of the whole body, in the right half, in my legs, etc. I was never worried, but of course puzzled by the phenomena. 20 years ago I experienced a panic attack which I was able to master and put an end to myself, this is not the same thing but I know the mind's power over the body's physics and what tricks it can play, and how to deal with such things, therefore I didn't really bother about what was going on this time as being afraid is the path to problems. Vibrations = not really a problem, but being afraid of vibrations = accelerating disaster. At one point, the vibration frequency was starting at the same high rate, but dropped down to a full stop in a perfectly descending curve. After that, the vibrations didn't return.

Later on, maybe a month later, I mentioned my strange 'vibrations' to a person who suggested the same thing as MonsieurM does in this thread, raise of vibrational state. From that point of knowledge, I had some strange dreams or rather teachings in 'semi-sleep' state. I was experiencing the fast vibration again, and then it dropped in frequency as the first time but didn't stop entirely. It kept going at a rate of maybe half or equal of my heartbeat. I was encouraged, there's no other word to it, to try to alter the frequency, and immediately it went up to twice the speed it ever have had before, and at that speed it's energy were fading away.

Next, I was 'told' to start the vibrations by my own will. I was supposed to activate it in my hands. It wasn't easy, but I could do it. Since then, I can't remember to have the nightly experience again. I find it quite hard to start the vibration by will, and maybe should put more effort in training, if I only knew more about why, how, or perhaps 'not'? (but I think 'why not?' is a better way of handling it)

I can't see any harmful in this experience, although it's quite a significant and insistent happening. The only damage it could bring is being afraid of it.

Although strange, my experience from learning to controlling it could bring you a sense of not being 'under attack' from the outside, which is frightening, but a phenomena being powered from within, which means you are able to take control over the situation.

I might add, that I believe in the explanation of raising frequency. Since this started, I've been challenged in different ways from outside. I know it may sound if I rather should seek immediate help at the nearest psyciatrical hospital if I explained all of it, and maybe I would, if I felt helpless facing these challenges.

I have met a man which I hate so much that there's no limit to what I would be able to do to him. It's an entirely new experience at my age, as I have 'been there done that' in childhood and youth, and have drawn conclusions about right and wrong, about empathy and revenge, about what I think is a life which I can live and stand up for. I see no point in being so provoked by a person that are far from being as problematic as other's have been before. I thought I knew how to deal with those energys from others, but with this person I was totally rolled over by surprise. I'm not a violent person at all or in any way, but with this person I would be able to do an ultimate exception. He poisoned my thoughts, literally.

I know all the possible explanations, like certain mental illnesses prone to break out in my age et cetera, but it's not the case (I think, haha ). I think I am couraged to practice the idea and thought of unconditional love, which I did at younger age in a way but at a lower energy or vibration level. The point is not our dispute, or his reasons for taking his point, which is the lower vibration way of understanding (and which always before have worked, but not this time), the point is to accept, love and forgive on a level above the physical individuality and reality.

A challenge is not a challenge if it's easy. I'm not sure if I've reached where I should go yet, but by sending thoughts of unconditional love and hope to him at one occasion, I felt great relief and comfort myself within two weeks time, and the poison in my mind is gone.

I think such a vibrational change carries the challenges of learning to walk again, so to speak. It makes sense in many ways, I think. It would be interesting to hear of other's experiences, or if somebody could direct me to a taylor who could provide me with a long-sleeved jacket.

Neutrina, have you considered that what you are experiencing is the onset of the Kundalini awakening/rising?
