Well folks, dont plan on Obama disclosing the truth any time soon. For someone who was supposed to transform politics and usher in a new era of government.....Looks like it was all just rhetoric.

Did you really expect anything different? I mean the government lies about everything. I don't know why they commented on this petition in the first place because it didn't get the 25000 signatures yet. That in itself should tell you something isn't right.

So the topic isnt worth discussion since 25,000 people didnt comment on some petition?...put that petition out in the public so everyone knows about it, and it would have recieved millions of hits.

Obama was elected because many many people were expecting something different. I personally didnt which is why i didnt vote for him, but many other people did. I'm sure those who did expect him to break new barriers were demanding to hear what his view of the matter was, which is probably why the white house responded even though they "technically" didnt have to.

We all know the government keeps secrets/lies. The point was that there was hope Obama would be the one to stop the chain of denial. Now we know for sure.

The truth has far reaching implications. They have many reasons to keep it hidden, one being the number of people who couldnt handle the truth, two being the technology. They already have the technology, why give it to everyone else when the military has been using it for theyre own sole purposes for decades. They denied the stealth bomber existed for 15 years while they were using it the whole time.

Im sitting on the fence as I have seen no evidence myself although it would be logical that ETs do exist.

When it comes to governments I would not trust anything they said. lets face it when has the government done anything to truthfully inform or benefit the people?

From my point of view, the US government has been hiding things for decades now. I think part of it is for national security reasons. I don;t know what that means. Another part of it is keeping people in the dark regarding supernatural phenomena such as psychic activity, extraterrestrial life, magic, miracles, etc.

Whatever the reason, I believe the truth must come out sooner or later. Hopefully.
