Hey! I had an experience at an impovosational comedy show a while back that I remembered recently. All this new info from this ESM forum and PATHS ect. has shed a new light on it and has made me want to play around with it.
So at the time I went to this show I had a particular "challenge" I was bravely facing at that time... and uncannily it was referred to and then partly played out in one of the sketches that they made up on the spot with random audience suggestions(none of them mine)-it all came with a bit of an answer or new deeper perspective for me to look at. It kinda freaked me out-not in a bad way but sort of a jaw dropping way. Me sitting in the crowd even knowing no one knew this was me and my scenerio on stage I felt that naked feeling when some deep truth comes to the surface in public that you dont have a total handle on or awareness of. It was pretty profound.
Anyway I wasnt so up on all this collective conciousness and morphic field mumbo jumbo (I say that in a good way) at that time. So the energetic machanics of what happend then was vague to nonexistant. Paroosing these sites and and remembering the event gave me an idea I wanted to try out on you all. I was wondering if you went to an Improve show with a honed in intent and focus (of a question for example) that you/I projected to the collective unconcious prior to or durring the show with the expectation of an answer...if the spontinaeity(sp?)and openness of the "actors" as well as the collective mind of the audience might tap into it and channel back an answer or some other profound truth in relation to it...???
I havent been to or had the chance to go to a show since Ive had this thought but thought Id pose it to ya'll if you are looking for a night of fun and entertainment maybe you could do a goofy (or not so) experiment with a night at the improv...?
If anyone gets a chance to try it let me know what happens. If I do I'll let you know.
