I'm building my first PC Fan SSG bedini setup and I'm trying to setup coils in the fan. The fan I got from PC power supply using bifilar coil (2 coils twisted as one). From my understanding trigger coil is used to turn the fan and power coil is used to produce output power. Low gauge winding produces less RPMs and high Torque, and using high gauge coil wire produces the opposite high RPM's and less torque. Since my fan using twisted wire coil, would it be OK to connect twisted wire for trigger coil in serial which would create twice as much winding but lower gauge wire and leave power coil as is using double twisted bifilar wire? In other words it would create 400 winds high gauge Trigger Coil and 200 winds for Power Coil. What do you think?
I attached the picture with 2 different coil design and I'd like to know which coil design is better to provide higher output (voltage, current)
Thanks in advance
