Is the length of a statute mile just an arbitrary figure? Why is it that when you google statute mile, you get 1.609344 kilometers? Why not show it as 5280 feet?
Apparently, distance in statute miles or length in feet isn't cool any more. Well, maybe not.
If you multiply the number of feet in a mile by the number of inches in a foot, you get an interesting number.
5820 x 12 = 63,360
So, you ask, "What's interesting about 63,360?"
Apparently, you've never taken the tangent of that number.
It seems there's something hidden behind the common statute mile and the twelve inch foot that we've been taking for granted all of these years.
But there's more.. Introducing Carl Munck
