I haven't seen this here. Kinda looks like a possible hoax cause he
claims to have a monopole magnet. Which I think all he has is a
diametrically magnetized magnet giving the illusion of a monopole magnet.

Motor seems to work. But I'm thinking he may be utilizing a battery in the
form of a homopolar motor to make this work hidden in the wood block.

If in fact it ISN'T a hoax, it should be easy to replicate.

I think he works with Batteries, on his Page he is stating, that he is a Magican, an Illusionist.
Even that monopole Magnets not really exist, and for sure not shaped in the Form he use,
I guess he use a normal Magnet, scraped the Isolation at one half from the Wires and it runs like a simple DC motor.

I think it's a simple motor. Battery is slotted through in the back of the wood. Even if that magnet is a monopole, he only use one pole. So does it matter? lol The measured voltage is 2.52V steady so it's highly a battery. He says voltage drop as it slow down, but it doesn't. Then he lifted that probe up simulated a zero voltage. He sanded the nails so the terminal is now go through the neo magnet to the other nail back to the battery. It's neat though.

Come on guys do a little research before posting this stuff.

I found the pics showing how it is faked and if you can read the rather fuzzy text it says how. Without buying access to that site I couldn't get a better image. This is from the guy who made the video. He's an inventor - that is inventor of magic tricks and illusions.... LOL

I actually dont think, the Rodin Coils creates a Monopole, but the opposite Pole is sucked into the Coil. Its anywhere deep inside or even maybe outside where usual the other Pole appears. The winding itself should create usual a opposite Pole when they get powered.

Even when some claim, they have found now the magnetic monopole,

i dont think it is really possible. Anywhere the opposite Pole will allways appear.

A friend of mine described over the phone what sounds like
a magnet magnetised N-S-S-N through its thickness, which looks
to me as good as a monopole magnet. (He got it on Ebay).

Maybe its just me but im looking for the trick all the time and what i see here is the first drill that shows north on the shank end clearly has a reduced shank which actually looks like its been modified and the second one showing a north at the tip end also looks to be modified at the tip. Surely if this were as real as it looks the demo would simply show that the north pole existed at either end of the same drill. Also if the north pole was focused in the coil as explained then the south must be outside the coil if this was the case then surely should not the drill display a north pole at both ends at the same time ??
