I think I found that chip http://www.evita.lt/getPdf.php?id=7348 however I'm not that good in Russian to decipher what is it .

Also I found Russian video about this chip. I'm sure it has replacement.
K561LN2 Specifics and Application - YouTube
    Look at description.
"K561LN2 includes six NO logic elements with the buffer output."

What is NO logic elements ?

It is Hex inverting buffer chip. My limited knowledge restrict me in finding the correct replacement chip but looks like CD4049 or CD4069 are candidates.

Would be nice if somebody from Russia confirm that and point to direct replacement chip.

Anybody here experienced in Multisim ?

With a lot of troubles I have made partial simulation of inverter part. Partial because I had to divide it into oscillator section and inverter section because multisim has problems with oscillators based on CD4049 and other logic gates.
Anyway finally I confirmed that it would run on CD4049 and generate squarewave of 50% duty cycle at 627Hz which is then fed into CD4017 and create the output exactly like delamorto draw on schematic.
I don't know where to put simulation files so we could complete them and check if simulation program based on SPICE can show even slight sign of OU.
That's why I started from that point instead of building circuit in reality first ( besides I don't have yet all elements)

              Hi all

              I started some rough tests.

              My alternative components:
              C2: 16mF + 20mF
L1: Secondary 125-220 Avisor trafo 12v/1A to measure gives 0.58H.
              D1: By255
              D2: ER306
              Bridge: B80 C5000-3300

Square wave inverter. I think not good for this circuit, because he does not have the same waveform. The off pulses before each half wave may be to let in the radiant.

Results: nothing special (obviusly not good components)

If anyone wants to see it in Spanish :

I'm interested to see that simulation. If you can not attach in forum, please pm me and send it (email) if possible. I have Multisim 10-11 installed.

I'm using Multisim but have a lot of troubles to make this simulation in multisim because I'm not experienced.( I have to find ways to connect VDD , 12V battery powering mosfets all to the same point and then make switch to disconnect it while maintaining VDD from capacitor? I'm a bit lost)

I don't know if that URL will work but here I saved my Multisim delemorto circuit simulation. I'm disappointed because maybe due to my limited experience with multisim I cannot force it to simulate with 12V bulb - filament is always broken.
Anyway, looks like simulation won't give answer if that circuit is real or not. I have almost all parts except 0.6H coil which is not easy to get I suppose. I tried to wind my own one but somehow all I can get is <100mH mostly. Is it possible to buy such high inductance choke ?

                      Hi boguslaw,

thanks for starting this thread, i was just working on an inverter too.

I have now a working one, and can show the several waveforms produced
by it and some input measurements.

Lateron i want to give this delamorto loopback system a try.

When google-ing "choke 0.6H" i see severall hits, so these chokes should be available.

A video of my inverter can be seen here: Loopback inverter Boguslaw thread.avi - YouTube

                        Thank you Itsu!

I realized that rapidshare free do not offer a link to download files (at least I cannot find this option). Where can I upload this simulation ? Any free online storage available today ? I have uploaded it into overunity.com , search for delamorto inverter.zip.
Of course that probably need a login there.

Hi Boguslaw, It's a funny thing, I just got two old washing machines and from
them I got the 30 mF of capacitors and close to the 0.6 Henry inductor, the
capacitance is in three caps and the inductor is a motor coil, but it should be fine.

I've got a small IC inverter circuit and a transformer but the small transformer
I have is not right for 220v it'll probably only give 160v, not sure when I'll
make any progress, I just thought I would say where I got some parts for free.

The inductor is the coil of the washer pump motor (shaded pole motor like a
microwave fan motor but bigger) it's only .52 H, the capacitors were for the
washers main motors all rated 250 volt or over.

                          Cheers

                            Delamorto inverter

                            @ all,

i toke a good look at the loopback circuit, and have my doubts if this can work this way.
To me it looks like we will have about 250V DC looped back into the 12 Volt input of the inverter
which can not be healthy for it.

                            Any comments are welcome.

See here my video about this and the proposed testing which i will do the next days.

                              Hi Itsu,

I have setup this feedback system using a small 300w commercial
                              inverter.

I found the current draw from the inverter excessive, so I replaced the
                              12v 21w bulb with a 240v 25w bulb a got a better result.

The system did not function as expected.

I need to build, as you have, a small inverter that does not waste the 200 to
220mA needed to idle the commercial inverter.

                              Regards, Penno

p.s. the DC measured resistance of the 21w 12v bulb is only around 1 ohm. So
this is the first thing I changed.

                                Loop back 260V DC??

                                Thanks Penno64 for your info.
So you really closed the loop?

I measured the output before looback, and it is 260V DC!!
Luckely i changed the 25V capacitor otherwise it probably had exploded.

So my question to anybody is how to feed back this 260V DC into the 12V input of the inverter without damaging it.

Video of my test is here: Delamorto inverter 3.avi - YouTube
