Is that what is melting the Ice Caps on Mars too? Global warming is because of the Sun getting hotter it is a fact, and the cycle is such that in 50 years we are going to see all the Ice caps back and become colder than normal..

So tell me since you are in fear of such things why you are not for:

No more burning of fossil fuels, or using food for fuel, nuclear waste, not to mention the weapons grade waste from such things.. tell me you are for the continuation of oppression of smog, hunger, WMD's, and explosive over population of our cities because of the governments and banks continuing to control the power that is every single humans right to have for free? More wars fought over oil, how many more people have to die before we will change this?

It is clear he was right... and the impact of these words is beginning to be felt by the governments that maintain their power controlling energy, starting to see that the end of their control is near, people will live where they want to live, and no government will control their movement anymore...

Only the idea on that page is simplistic.
Alternating magnetism does not 'flip' - it cannot.
It precesses, with the 'gravitic' centre of that precession away from the source inducing the electron's axial spin alignments.

Also, through the kind of body described, the precession also progress like a wave, and thus be reactively resonatable !

We have been incorrectly 'educated', and far too many illustrations simplistically ignore the FACT that magnetism relates to axially aligned electron orbit spins, and (just as with a gyroscope) they cannot be flipped - only precessed.

Additionally, cold metal is a more stable nucleii environment than when hot, and thus electrons around hot nucleii cannot remain as polarised as when cold.

I did get me a old signal generator for a hundred bucks that works just fine.. and managed to get it to drive a transistor into a coil .. with some some gain in 2-3x gain voltage no power gain however, that i know of as i am not set up yet to do all the measurements i need.. still waiting on a few things like a dc power supply and more parts to get more precise..

I did do some reading on Nitinol that is fascinating stuff even the guys at MIT don't know how it works.. but it does

Have been thinking about seeing if I can do some experiments with it in coil windings.. and was thinking about seeing if i can use it in a design below where a small gap could be closed pulsing some 'mussel wire' to close a small gap.. since it is not magnetic by nature, at least the titanium is paramagnetic, i hope it will 'let go' from a large field where a selinoid will just stay firmly fixed once the gap was closed..

So I am kinda excited about getting my hands on this stuff.. i havent seen much on anyone using it in this way except one post where someone said it would react to a 'strong' magnetic field (returning to it's 'baked' shape) so that might help or it might be a barrier to using it at all.. just don't know..

so just maybe this stuff could be used to close a very small gap of a ferrite rod, then release at some reasonably fast frequency.. I just don't know enough about how it will react to the field and want to find out.. bake it to connect the side of the toroid, bake it to pull away, use pulsed DC to make it react fast, or wlll the strong magnetic field itself force it to return to the baked shape all these questions.. wow.. should be a fun ride.. got to get some it costs about 25 bucks for 10 feet of it.. i might spring for 10' and play for a while and see if there is any promise in getting a lot of it to wire a coil with..

Anyhow wanted to thank you for your comments and encouragement i will seriously check out the lecture.. and check back in if find anything cool otherwise probably will be back to the puzzel palace at work for the week and not much action in the lab

Do you mean the muscle wire as used in R/C aircraft ?
Hmm, that IS an interesting prospect.
I haven't used any and wish I had, so that I could ramble on about speed of operation...but, FWIW I do know that rudder deflections and the rest have to be speedy and that many '1S' (3.7V lipo battery) applications for it are common.

Quite an interesting thread ... just wanted to make sure you're aware of the parallel path magnetic phenomenon that Joe Flynn uses in his motor/generators and actuators.. He gets work out of his motors and I think it would(will) be easy to add collection coils next to the actuation coils on his designs. Patrick Kelly also showed a y shaped generator using flux shifting (MEG).. you go!
