Reliable schematic of small inverter for non tapped transformer ?

Does anybody have a working schematic of inverter which can effectively use transformer without center tap ? Something which can run in higher frequencies generating from 40 to 100W power maybe less if such amount is not possible...
In SR913 schematic I saw such kind of circuit but I'm not sure if it was workable and reliable so I'm asking for comments from electronics gurus.
