I've read extensively on Aviso's invention and research. It is impressive and I hope that he succeeds in bring a "real" product to market.

However, if he REALLY wanted to "Save The World", wouldn't it be more effective to completely open-source his discoveries in such a way that anyone across the globe could replicate and benefit from it?
