    Hi all,
does anyone know any alternative to expensive oscilloscopes that are useful for our high frequency needs? possibly ultra high voltage as well. possibly an inexpensive multimeter that hooks up to the computer to show the wave form?

    thanks!

There are USB scopes that plug into a reasonably fast computer
    Hantek make them, amongst others:
    usb | eBay

Ultra high voltages need special probes, I believe.

      CraigsList

You should be able to find a nice used one for under $100 on Cragslist.org, with probes and all. Guess it depends on where you live.
Use zoomthelist.com to find one then call. Some people don't like to do the shipping thing, others will.
