this might sound silly. but would it be possible to wire the drive coil like a step up transformer with twin secondaries oriented in opposite directions with diodes so that one will induct and try to neutralize the drive winding flux and then the other seeing that change will induct and try to re-establish that flux but now there is a stepped up current to feed back into the motor? or even lose the drive coil and have a low lenz drag generator coil or even make a motionless electrical amplifying transformer?? I want to look into this if i ever get the time.

My gut that this recent post in the EPD thread,

      http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...tml#post209885

      also has relevance.

Babcock's demo with the rods showed a fluctuation around the saturation region. One would think that there is a fluctuation in Squires' circuit as the choke is pumped into saturation then dumped.

Hi lotec, I fear I may be hijacking the thread here with what I suggested so I will answer this on http://www.energeticforum.com/renewa...tml#post209947

well. I bought the DVD, it is technical.

However, I really like how Peter Lindemann explain ideas. The use of charts, pics, graphs, really help to explain ideas.

It is a hard DVD and need to watch a few times to understand the principals at hand.

Nevertheless, buy the DVD and get the knowledge!

          Thx

This video and the Babcock one are key to understanding the Lockridge device. They do not talk specifically about the lockridge but it is the principals. I would recommend you watch both over and over again.

Dave Squires Advanced Switched Reluctance Motor

              Hi Peter,

I assume you are still in contact with Dave Squires. Do you have any update on his prototype motor?. I have not seen any news on this development for more than 18 months now.

              Thanks

              Barry
