Patent: "device and method for producing a directed force from a rotational movement"
The invention relates to a device (10) for producing a directed force from a rotational movement, comprising a forcibly rotated oscillating body (18) with a mass distribution which is eccentric in relation to the rotational axis and a transmission device (14) for converting the imbalance caused by the eccentric mass distribution into a directed force. The transmission device consists of a pendulum (14) that is pivotally fixed on a support frame (12) and is arranged on the oscillating body (18) in such a way that it can swing. The pendulum (14) can me moved against a stop (28) located in the support frame. Another way to produce a directed force from a rotational movement is to ensure that the additional weight causing imbalance is stationary in relation to the device as opposed to the oscillating body.
