  • to built water heater ,based on my built

cut out two aluminun plates, 3 by 3 inches 20ga. or heavy enough so they don't bent, can be cut to leave a little tap for a spade connector , around one plate tie two nylon tie wraps (used for spacer) lay 2nd plate parralel to first plate, and secure to first plate, the object is to have two 3 by 3 inch plates spaced apart by about 1 eights of an inch ,use 110 volt cord with 2 wires and attach spade connectors to wires and push them on the tap of each plate,

Expect it to draw at least 10 amps at 110 volts, water heats up at a good rate , use one pound of water (454 cc ) or 454 ml or 0.454 liters. amperage changes with different water temerature.

One BTU equals raising one pound of water by 1 degree fahrenheit.

starting with one pound of cold water 60 degree fahrenheit, if at 1 minute the water is at 170 degrees ,it means it absorbed 110 btu's or 6600 btu/hr if figured per 60 minutes.

it is interesting to note the electrical input will only be 81 btu/s

water will have to be stirred right after heating with plastic spoon to get accurate temperature readings.

extreme caution is required , at no point should the water be touched specially this heater should not be used in the tub to heat up the bath water

The main reason for this experiment is , so you know for sure ,with the same amount of electricity you can heat water 1.35 times faster than your electric kettle, with is appearently 100% efficient ,I guess my heater is 135% efficient.

It may leave you confused and in disbelief ,but it may help you to wake up.

    • Welcome Vortex and thanks for sharing. There's a thread on this forum about a friction heater seems like you're saying.

      • Fernando's Force Multiplier

        Hi Everyone,

I have been working on a replication of Fernando's Force Multiplier and have made a video of the machine build.
It can be found here - Fernando's Force Multiplier Replication Build, by netica. Video 1 - YouTube

Looks like solid precision engeneering. Congrats. Looking forward to see this baby run.

          Good luck!
          All the best,

                  • Hi Netica,

I think you have built an excellent replica of the Fernando force multiplier as far as the available details let it. Unfortunately your measurements show a COP of less than unity if I interpret your measurements correctly.
I wonder if any further fine tuning, change some distances etc could improve the results, I am sure you have been thinking on such possible improvements (unfortunately I cannot test such setups due lack of mechanical shop).

Nevertheless, many thanks for all your efforts!

                    Greetings, Gyula

                      Hi gyula,

                      Thank you gyula.
I did spend quite awhile going over the short video clips that have been available for this device, everything I've made is pretty much from a few seconds of video.
There also seems to be changes or variations of the original that have been made to enhance its performance, I believe I have seen at least 3 from Fernando.
From what I have seen it has been claimed to multiply the force many times.
At the moment I am just setting it up different ways and with different speeds to see what happens.

There is an error in your YT clip, nothing can be displayed. Please check the video uploaded to see what went wrong, thank you.

                              • It is strange that some of your clips do not play over the Firefox browser. I suggest you try open your clips with different browsers.
                                That must be YT's fault.
Every other channel does not have this problem, only yours does. I am sorry.
