  • - Looking For Work -

An open invitation, idea and furtherment concept for people interested in this field.

The overall idea - is that if you or a person you know has little time, family commitments, or due to advancing years can no longer build intensive fiddly projects, I will build them for a reasonable fee.

The idea came from an email sent by a good friend, Bobby, in which he raised such issues as the above and felt it to be a situation that could be addressed, by persons such as myself.
We're all here, reading, experimenting, taking notes of changes and advancements. But some have perhaps not the electronics skills or time to actually build what is being discussed.

As a background - My wife and I are struggling as many are. The ongoing lengthy battle with immigration fees and the expectations within has become one of inability to meet many costs. For example, a medcal appointment by the end of this month, our car is off the road with overheating issues, never mind simply the gas to get to Tulsa and back. An example of the odd demands, they want us to send a picture with my wife and I holding a newspaper to show the date. Our March 2007 Marriage Certificate is apparently not good enough.
We have 4 boarded up windows, no running water, no TV service, cellphones or much else and the internet/phone/electricity are hanging by a thread...the unemployment figures are down, because, we hear, people have given up looking. And that was within mainstream news, not alternative sources just yesterday ! What realistic chance has an Englishman to find employment, when many around believe jobs should only be with American born citizens ?
I don't qualify for anything and my wifes Food Stamp allowance is shared between us.
My wife has several medical issues and she at least needs the peace of mind that her prescriptions can be filled.

So things must change and, I believe this country can reshape and evolve by the concept of support for enterprising small business and the individuals within.
Innovations, creativity, the willingness to help others.
In that light, I formed Thortz Energy a couple of months ago. Intended to sell renewable energy products, There were very favorable reports from friends and work colleagues of a member here on this forum, whom a dozen lights were sent to. But, without the capital to buy the components for making the products, or to further refine it's fallen flat. Stupid huh, a couple of dollars of components per light and even there it can't compete with China. Never mind the fact that they run on Earth energy, no batteries, fresh clean 21st century products, Made in America.
Those inital products have been Earth Energy Garden Lights and an Earth Energy HeliPad.
    Videos here:
Earth Energy Garden Lights - Free Energy Garden Lights - YouTube
Prototype HeliPad - HeliPad Prototype - YouTube
Kickstarter rejected the project and why? they never said, even on appeal. The lights were at that time called Free Energy Garden Lights. Free energy huh? doesn't exist.

Have I built for others before ? Yes.
This 6 coiler version of the Bedini 3PM energizer was built up for a member here and shipped to him: Bedini 6 coiler - YouTube
He supplied the parts, I built it.

My build quality has improved greatly over the past year and I hope I am in good standing with you guys here. You know me, i'm here and can answer any questions by PM or directly at any time.
Got a project you'd like to have built ? let's talk about it
If I have the parts, i'll build it. If I don't then we can work something out, i'm not going to fly off to the Bahamas.
Want to buy anything seen in my YouTube videos ? shoot me an offer

        Hi Slider
were on the same boat but just like you we tend to have a better life
The competition is tough with made in China just as Im planning to build solar lighting projects in my country comes cheap dirt China made solar products
So Now Im going for plan B my friends and relatives wanting to save energy bills who are more than willing to pay at whatever cost for their survival

My ideas I can share to you like for example kits , like Energycreator has done and some paypal donation accounts
circuit board designs with your electronics wizardry Recycling and how to videos
        hope this help....

          I empathize with you...
We must continue doing what we think is best with the hope that the solution will come. Even if there is no light at the end of the tunnel, yet.
I feel that the answer to our prayers is right around the corner.

          Best of Luck,

Time to help out a good neighbor.

            @ALL:
Fist let me start out my saying that anyone here that fully discloses their work and then offers that work as a finished product for sale ~ KUDOS. The Slider2732’s and John Bedini’s of the world are to be commended, as well as the majority of people that participate in these threads. The problem I have is the ones that come here claiming something special and want pay to release information.

I have purchased some of the “Earth Energy Garden Lights” from Slider and will tell you, it was worth every penny and more. These were high quality and professionally built. I gave 10 away to coworkers and friends with the caveat that they tell me what they thought about them. All responses were positive, but here are some of my favorites.

Gave one to a grandfather – 3 granddaughters with the oldest now taking an interest in doing science experiments with grandpa. The youngest two believe it is an alien ship sent to make certain they behave when visiting grandpa. Grandpa is thrilled.

Gave one to a CPA (certified public accountant) and one of my best friends. CPA’s are very analytical and when I explained to him what a blocking oscillator is and how the light works ~ you can see the delight on his face as he shows it off to others and explains how it works.

Gave one to a coworker who cares for an elderly parent. That elderly parent now goes out onto the porch every evening to check on the light when before, would not leave the house.

The point here is that everyone loves the lights, young, old, highly educated, and even me. I use mine to tell me when to water the house plants.

Life is way to short to not make lifetime friends and help out a good neighbor. The rewards will be far more valuable than the investment.

Slider ~ I apologize that we have not spoken for a while, but you know my trade and how busy this time is for me. Should lighten up soon though and look forward to reconnecting.

            Take Care,
            Brad S

@Totoalas - I like the story of fine watches and what happened, seeing a parallel to my own view of future energy and the people within it. Also to your fine endeavours and wish to help those around discover a different mindset.

              From: Swiss watches
"In the middle of the 19th century, America started mass production of watch components that were precise and compatible with a wide variety of watches. The effect of this on the Swiss export market was devastating as the export of Swiss watches to the US dropped by 75% in a span of 10 years. The Swiss had to regroup and let them to embark on the precision machining of Swiss watch parts."

There is our China link, the way the market changed.

"By the early 20th century, Swiss watchmakers, in order to make the Swiss watch more attractive to buyers, added extras such as calendars and stop watches. The first quartz Swiss watch was developed in 1967 but the Swiss failed to capitalise on the new technology opening the doors for Japan and the US to improve on the discovery.
The Swiss diverted most of thier effort in improving mechanical watches which proved to be another blunder as it destroyed the Swiss watch industry in the mid 1970's. The bottom fell out of the market for traditional watches."

Let's not be the Swiss of that time and ignore what is developing. We are exporting knowledge. Our experiments produce quartz type innovations all the time.
There is nothing wrong with Chinese mass manufacturing of what we have developed, think of it that way. If they push forward by being copycats, it would both help their economy and show that others are leading. We can produce the 'real' projects and products, China can spread the technology faster than we ever could. China then becomes an ally and how's that for a different take !

"Switzerland was no longer a major player as far as watches were concerned during this time but they fought back in an unusal and unexpected way. They called in a business consultant and came out with an idea that revolutionized the Swiss watch industry.
The consultant brought up the idea of marketing the Swiss watch as a fashion statement. The cheap electronic Swiss watch called Swatch has sold millions and put the country back to the top of the world's exporters in 1995. The success of the Swatch is credited with turning around the fortunes of the Swiss watch industry as a whole. It boosted confidence in Swiss watch making and showed the Swiss how to sell their products."

Expensive centralised systems won't work. Nuclear is only good til the next major X flare or major earthquake. I love the sound of a burbling V12 engine, but if a Tesla Roadster knocks the car it sits in for six then what really is going on ?
All just talk ? no. I'm sure if anyone shows a blocking oscillator (such as Lidmotor's 'Penny', Lasersaber's similar circuit or Zee2's uA oscillator), puts a piece of copper as positive electrode and chain link fencing as negative then sticks it in the ground...noone can tell you that isn't free light coming off that LED !
Then, just hold that same device in your hand and watch the LED begin to flash and ask how that circuit running and light flashing isn't free either !
Does it need millions of R+D research dollars to show that technology in action ? nope.

Well, that was a rant in the end lol, but change is what we are part of and China really has an infrastructure to offer us a large amount of help. Look what people are doing with the circuits from solar dancing flowers these days

@Nick - Oh there's a light at the end of the tunnel...and it's not an oncoming train light

@b_rads - Thank you so much for the Beta testing and for being so helpful. The lights and other earth energy products are fully intended to be furthered and built, when times improve.
The stories of the lights, even so far, have been a joy to read and i'm overwhelmed by those positive results. Please do forward my fondest regards to the elderly parent...that is so heartwarming to have helped produce intrigue and fun little trips to the porch

                  Offer

                  Slider,

I can relate to your situation, experienced similar myself.

I am finishing off the design for an AC electrode boiler steam dump valve which will hopefully be released in pictorial form this weekend and a youtube video of a working prototype soon thereafter. Time permitting.

The parts I needed to finish the prototype arrived today so I will be putting it together asap. I have a surplus of the necessary parts, collected over time from many different prototype designs. I will perform all custom work requiring tooling (minimal thread cutting). PM me where to send them and I will send them, no obligation, no cost to you. If you can replicate my system by building it yourself you can do whatever you want with it, sell it if you wish. If you do replicate successfully and sell it to help ends meet, I will send you another set of duplicate parts for yourself.

That is my promise to you, pending successful prototyping of course. However, as most of my stuff is built upon known technologies, I have little doubts about it working, it's just a matter of tuning at this point.

Let me know if that offer interests you,

                  Rob

@Rob - Very interesting, very worthwhle too. I hope to see that project in action !
I've got a problem here though, no running water and our boiler hasn't for quite some while lol, so ermmm. However, having been recently quite involved with the Davey bells system i'm intrigued by this. I'll know better when you do the YouTube video. Thank you very much for the offer in any case

@Dave45 - That was indeed part of the plan for anything coming from Thortz Energy.
However, without the funds to build up more finished lights or refine the HeliPad, things crunched to a standstill (lights to sell at $5, HeliPad for $20 until 'picked up' and made to compete better with China with mass production).
Btw, the HeliPad features a USB input for the power rods section. The power rods are intended to be used across a range of Earth energy products and feature 1 Positive electrode, 4 Negative electrodes. Kinda novel. Different Thortz Energy devices could then plug into it, just like we use USB ports traditionally. Only now, it's free energy.
That was after the Kickstarter debacle, where, funds are supposed to be used to kickstart such a venture. People would get their products and onward would go repeat orders, R+D, new lines and a renewable energies 21st century business would be off to a good start.

@Totoalas - LOL, McGyver. A piece of tinfoil, some chewing gum and a couple of coils..uhuh, maybe
Thanks for your encouraging comments !
