Im currently building a zero energy home for myself in the country. Log cabin style, and vast access to stone (field stone). Its also on limestone so eventually I can build spanish style catacombs.
Anyway, I was interested in building a wind turbine using plumbing supplies and an alternator (Im a plumber). Seems like before I build it would be best to question people who know what theyre doing.
Im vastly interested in renewable energy, and would want to spend time on this forum, problem is I know very little about mechanics. Besides advice on a turbine I wouldnt mind getting started on other ideas for practice.
Also going to build a wood Gasifier eventually and power a generator with it. To be blunt I have zero experience but everyone starts somewhere.
Thanks for any replies.
