  • Simlified solar charger/Tesla switch

    Here is schema for solar charger I come up with. Any comments or recommendations are welcome.
    FYI ... Yes I built it and yes it works.
    Replaced 1k resistor with 47 Ohm. Charging even in very low light.

      Or just tell us what you used for the caps, and the type of transistor.
      The main difference I see on this circuit is that it does not have coils. I'll bet that if it did, it might have an even better output.
      I'll try this too, as I have a lot of huge jungle trees around my yard, blocking some direct sunlight.
      I think that it is very important to have a micro inverter for nearly every solar panel, when joining more that just a couple of panels.
      As the solar panels combined current output is only a strong as the weakest panel in the chain.
