    Hot water economic

      Hi Franco, I experimented ,heating water with the sun and mirrors.
      Are you saying you can heat the water by reflecting a laser between 2 mirrors, while submerged in the water?
      I went to your link ,but can't read it.
      I like the idea though.

          Instead of a sphere you can use a cube to flat mirrors, with a laser 1 Watt and three ducts glass for hot water

            I believe what he is showing is an "anti-laser". If two beams are phased correctly for 100% destructive interference, the medium in which this occurs heats. I am not completely sure of the mechanism, but very interested. We have circular, elliptical and linear polarization with lasers, but to polarize them in a way that they do not exactly "exist" to the observer, has interesting effects.

              Yes, but do you get any more heat energy than the electrical energy put into the laser?

                Not directly... I agree.

                But here is a playing with some thaughts... I try to explain.

                When you force a medium in a direction, it wil influence the surroundings.

                When you blow air into a bag from a distance, you will also blow in surrounding air, so there will be more air in the bag, as you did blow in.

                As long as the mass and speed of the moving object(s) are exceeding or around equal the surroundings , it will take some of it along. (Stones in a river )

                Now back to the laserbeam.

                Could it be that the laserbeam when exposed to additional (surroundings) heat or light before it hits the water, takes some of that heat and/or light with it in it's direction?
