The BlacklighPower company claims that their water-derived Hydrino-based energy generation system can power a car at a very low cost.
The calculated energy usage of their new Catalyst Induced Hydrino Transition (CIHT) cell that would weigh 133 kg. They concluded that one liter water might last as a fuel for 3000 miles. It does not need a range-limiting and heavy battery.
They maintain that the cost of the electronics, electric motors, transmission chain, are less than the cost of the of the corresponding elements of a conventional gasoline-fired vehicle.
If so, this would obviously be a very interesting alternative considering that the energy source is non-polluting water.
