What forum edits posts for anything other than off-topic, offensive or spam posts? I saw an admin's warning to that effect just yesterday in reply to someone's blog promotion. If they edited at the post level, there'd be membership fees and restricted access. If you're looking for a scientific perspective, you're looking in the wrong place--try a peer reviewed academic journal in EE.

Didn't you come up with that phrase "scientific part of the persons". The scientist is the true AGNOSTIC assuming nothing until proven, diligently laboring in their laboratory to prove/disprove a hypothesis or claim, you're either a BELIEVER or aTHEIST.

Beleaver or not - I'm not so religious as many seems to be in this "business" - what I want is a scientific approuch to this issue - scientific METHODS and it's more religious than scientific to say "energy is coming from the inviroment" WITHOUT any explanation.

I'm very interested in this issue but I'm NOT ready to start building some "toy" or some bigger "installation" with the ONLY explanation to its functioning that it works because it's "a gift from The Lord to Man" ... I don't think the "serious" part of the persons in this business would be satified with such an explanation too - right ?

Back to the SECURED PDF-file - WHY ???? ... don't you want to make any comments as you read ? ... I do and I can't imaging why the file is SECURED the way it is - normaly I CAN "open" such "locked" files - but not this one ... argh !

I just used the link you have in your post above. When I click on the link my browser gives me the option to save or open the file. I opened the file. It tool about 5 minutes to download on my computer. I then opened it and looked at whatever I wanted to. I then saved the file again as I had already downloaded and saved it before. I went to the saved copy and could highlight any part of the document I wanted and then using edit I could copy that part of the document. I then put the copied part into a word document and could then add whatever comments I wanted. Someone has taken the time to give you a link to one of the most comprehensive documents about the search for free energy and again all you do is complain. Patrick Kelly has spent many many hours of his time to compile that document and continually keeps it upgraded. He deserves a tremendous amount of respect for his efforts which he has freely shared with the free energy community. Your complaining attitude is really not earning you any respect here at all. So maybe you should just move on and look for somewhere else to find what you are looking for.

I told you in my post how to copy whatever part you want. For some reason you deleted that part of my post when you quoted me.

I don't know why the pdf is secured but I imagine it is to keep people from messing with it. If i had worked as hard as Mr. Kelly has I would not want someone to be able to mess with my work either. And I guess you don't understand that when you criticize a document you are actually criticizing the person that wrote it.

To try and help you a little bit more although I am not sure you deserve it I am going to share what browser and operating system I have so you can maybe figure out why you are having so much trouble. I am using Opera as my browser and Linux Fedora as my operating system. I have used Opera and Windows to view and save the pdf file also without any problems. Maybe you need to check the settings of your browser or operating system.

Now it's YOU that don't read what I'm writing ... I did exactly the same as you did but I CAN'T copy anything from the document ... I too can't make any comment in the text. That's normal procedure when I'm reading PDF-files I make some comments in the text and that's what the Acrobat Reader is designed to do ... IF the document is NOT SECURED !

I normaly CAN open up such "locked" PDF's for commenting but not this one and I still wonder how YOU can do it ... and you did NOT do any "unlocking procedure" of any kind ?

This "you don't understand that when you criticize a document you are actually criticizing the person that wrote it" is YOUR interpretation ... I'm just working on doing some comments as you NORMALY are supposed to do in PDF-files !

Google Patrick Kelly. You should come up with multiple links, along with downloads. I have no problem following and completing Carrols advice on the download mentioned above. There are multiple places one can download these files.


In regards to making comments, this is the equivalent of an Ebook, its compilation is not designed to be commented on directly, or altered. I dont understand why that would make you upset. You dont buy a movie and expect there to be blank places where you can record your comments or suggestions, that is done elsewhere, like in this forum, or on your blog etc...

It is a feature of PDF .. you can allow comments or not ... as an author.
This is optional and up to the person who produced the PDF.
I used to work @ Adobe. I'm not sure what the big deal is here.

For example, the Bible. I would probably emit that in the form of PDF
so that people can't change it. Given that doing so is a cursed behavior.
We don't want people changing the word of God or heckling God now
do we.

Same is true of science. We don't want people just breaking links, or altering text, or making videos non-existing .. or heckling with a plethora of disturbing review comments..
Leave the poor author alone and let him/her contribute w/o being disturbed
by link breakers ... over overzealous reviewers...

Commenting has NOTHING to do with changing then text - in a "normal" PDF-file you can NOT change the text ... still you can make comments, mark some text in different colors and/or mark text and copy the marked text - nearly as reading a printed book, where you make some comments with a pencil and mark some text with - often - fluorescent - ink.

So your arguments are non sence.

BTW I think it's odd you use these arguments AND states that the PDF-file is NOT "secured" by you ... at least you say you can copy text from it !
