    Michael John Nunnerley,

Curious as to what the purpose was in posting that statement?

    From what you said:

"Robert is a chemist who does work for a company, I really don't know how he gets away with doing this in public, but good for him, as long as he does not loose his job by doing it, that would worry me."

You make it sound like he is breaking the law "I really don't know how he gets away with doing this in public".

That is the reason for non-disclosure agreements, duh!

You speak like you know Robert Murray-Smith? Do you?

Comments like that turn those that would want to contribute away.

The truth is, being the freelance research chemist Robert Murray-Smith is, allows him to share his not so earth shattering graphene research with us.

He is FREELY sharing the skills and methods of making graphene and graphene products in a way that anybody can do this and allowing us to create and experiment by ourselves without a costly lab.

The Graphene Electrostatic Speaker idea he posted is brilliant and now in the public domain thanks to him:

Many appreciate the educational and inspirational videos he has put up at YouTube.

        Hello.

I would love to try this. I need a simple tutorial that explains how to do it.

Concerning industrial production of Graphenes and Nanotubes.

Dear Gentlemen. I would like to inform you that Profesor Victor Petrik has a unique technology of industrial producing of Graphenes. Your are able to find attached photos of the graphenes and if some one would like to know more about it please fill free to contact me.
          Thanks in advance.

I know this thread is about Graphine, but that is basically a tubular carbon from what I understand so alternativly this article shows how some guys made super caps from Bio Char
Team uses forest waste to develop cheaper, greener supercapacitors

You route through that article and get to the scientific papers. They cost though but its good read.

Basically they wash biochar with nitric acid to remove any further impurities then rinse with Di-ionized water. Then they place the piece in the glass jar and use diluted sulphuric acid (LAB electrolyte) for an electrolyte. Maybe Alum fluid would work too.

The jar in the picture is less than a gram of bio char and produced 14 farad at 1.7 volt, if memory serves me right.

I would have liked to try it, but I do not have nitric acid and didn't want to purchase any at this time.
