  • Eric Dollard's Presentation

    Hi everyone,

    At Eric Dollard's request, please vote on what topic you want to hear at the conference.

    The only 2 options are:

    A. The Alternating Electric Wave - it's very mathematical and not for the layman.

    B. Anti-Relativity Theory - obviously very controversial and more suited for the layman.

    Most people following Eric Dollard's work are more interested in the more technical lectures, which would be choice A, but go ahead and cast your vote ASAP. Eric needs plenty of time to prepare his lecture.

          Torn!

          Gee that's a tough one!

          Anti-Relativity Theory would be more 'entertaining' and understandable to more people. And it is of great importance as the Theory of Relativity generally blocks the knowledge and understanding of Tesla & Alexanderson, it's a mind virus. However given that the recent lecture given back in 2007 has be purged (or prized out of the dying hands) of the SFTS. This information has now been released to the public. Plus I'd like hear his theory on gravity and why the planets and stars (Sun) are hollow explained once again. (This theory seems to have generated quite a stir of recent times).

          Then we have the Alternating Electric Wave lecture, which may not be for the layman, which may twist the mind of the non-mathematical people. Perhaps even be considered 'boring' by some. (But Professor Dollard won’t make it boring). However since that no presentation has been done on this subject of recent times, a fresh lecture on this topic may help solidify the understanding of the maths, Steinmentz method, +1, +j -1 and -j concepts, space and counterspace & the things presented by Professor Dollard in written form here on the Energetic Forum. For myself, I find the maths difficult, however the more I look at it and study it, the stronger the maths mussel gets. Having it explained in words and pictures (sight and sound) really helps me with the understanding of it all.

          So i'm really torn between the two options! I'm slightly above the layman level and way below the mathematical genius type, so it's tough to pick. However I'd probably go with A, to help with the understanding of the Alternating Wave and the maths.

          I'm stoked & excited that Eric is even doing a lecture. I'm sure which ever one he presents, it will be a landmark event and given in the style that only Professor Dollard can deliver.

            Aaron, correct me if I am wrong but Eric only has 90 minutes to speak. I am not sure if everybody else saw the Eric Dollard 2007 Presentation - Misconceptions of Electricity and More - YouTube video, but it can be seen that Eric skips over A LOT of prepared technical information on the subject due to time limitations. I am hoping to take the Powerpoint presentation from that video and have Eric go over each page in detail while capturing it on video. I just hope that people know that there may be a lot of unanswered questions if Eric gets into a mathematically technical subject where he is only allotted 90 minutes. I think the Anti-Theory of Relativity would be better suited in this case.

              Aaron is there any way you can give Eric Dollard more time to present on a topic? Perhaps even an optional bonus session during one of the 5hr socializing evening blocks?

                  David is right, he makes some sense. Given only 90 minutes or so, the Anti-Relativity lecture will probably fit in better with the allocated time and Eric could have a lot more 'fun' with it.

                  Otherwise 2 - 4 hours or more would probably be needed to go through the whole concept in depth for the Alternating Waves lecture. I'm sure Eric could rush through it in 90 minutes, but there'd be a lot of dumb looks on everyones faces at the end of it.

                    The time limit is a good point, but personally I don't see the need to repeat what has already been said. That is, there's no point in going over the basics again, and again, and again. I think this is a good opportunity to continue the internet transmissions, or something that helps us to understand and work with it and apply it. While I don't want to exclude anyone who happens to turn up at the conference and hear about it for the first time, that information is already on here and in Eric's other videos etc. So in my opinion time would be better spent on going to more depth on option A. Maybe the people who will be attending should do some homework to get the most out of it and that way it doesn't "need" to be for the total layman.

                    On that note unfortunately I won't be there. Is it going to be filmed and DVDs made available? I'll buy one of those.

                        Since math takes time to settle in reader's mind, a presentation purely on formuaes tend to be frustrating and time consuming.

                        I would suggest to focus on the big picture, giving an opportunity to foresee the implications.

                        However, math can complement the presentation in the form of a handout document and during presentation Eric could point to refferences from this doc ("see formula 2.15" as an example). So interested people can review it at anytime later.

                          Math and Hardware please.

                          Let's see some math. How about a lecture that includes some examples of using the versor operators directly applied to single and double energy transient situations. Generalized and numerical examples in the DC/AC/IC/OC cases for waves applied to purely lumped or distributed networks or combinations of rotating machines coupled to lumped impedances, polyphase transmission line, etc., would be very helpful. It would be really nifty to get a better handle on exciting two or more energy modes at the same time in a network using versors. Maybe break out the Heavside equations, or versified form thereof, and lets crank out some algebra on some special situations. Anything related to wave generation and formation as well as instrumentation and measurement techniques would be something to consider as well. Even just some basic case like here's a wave, here's it's versor model, here's a lumped network, here's the versor model for the lumped network, and here's some of the interesting things that you can now observe on the bench when you consider this aspect of the resulting versor multiplication after the switch is closed, etc.

                            This is exactly what I'd want to see.

                            I know that there is a group of people here who would freak out at a the sight of a math equation but seriously unless you have some crazy intuitive sense and can make things completely in your head and just fine tune the end result you need maths in this hobby and it's actually kinda cool once you pick a bit of it up or maybe that's just my inner nerd. A presentation of this nature will serve to encourage people to learn a bit of maths which will help them in more ways that one and help further knowledge of 4 quadrant theory rather than go over material that has already been lectured on multiple times.
