Yes, this is the room for hypothetical device arguments.

Because of a tool called language used to identify and distinguish human experience. Are you suggesting we shouldn't define things that we can't 'so, absolutely sure- To establish,... solid and definite "limitations", "exceptions"...and "attributes" to "something" is completely Hypothetical?! We'd be still living in caves if that were the case. You have a point--god and UFOs came into social existence through language which inevitably led to the need 'To establish,... solid and definite "limitations", "exceptions"...and "attributes" to "something" completely Hypothetical'. But in the case of the latter example, you can see how these 2 needs contradict one another: anything moving in the sky one doesn't immediately recognize is by definition, a UFO.

      • About 10 years ago on a perfectly calm clear winters night myself and some friends saw four extremely bright white lights appear in the sky. They hovered in place and yet there was no sound. then a smaller "craft" came out of the lights, started accelerating at astronomical speed, made a perfect 90 degree sweeping turn and continued accelerating into outer space...within a second or so.
There was no sound, there was no flames belching from it's engines, there was no vapor trail, no sonic boom.

From that moment on I kind of lost faith in people and what they think they know as a fact. We pretend to be so smart and in control and we think we can rationalize everything from our limited perspective but in fact we know very little. No offense to anyone but I think people lack credibility when they speak of things they know nothing about and when they have no proof whether something is in fact possible or not.

In any case it was a valuable lesson in perspective and since that time whenever any self-proclaimed expert starts telling everyone how it is I have to laugh. It's comical because no matter how smart they think they are, no matter what they think they know as a fact they may as well have the intelligence of a two year old when compared to the people or beings who built and piloted the craft I saw.

To be honest I find this comforting that there may be "others" of vastly superior intelligence because if one looks at our history and what we continue to do to this planet it would be easy to assume there are no signs of truly intelligent life. We may claim to be very intelligent but extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof and I'm just not seeing it.

          Hello AC,

Thanks VERY MUCH for taking Your time to write this Excellent Post, as sharing/describing in detail your sight experience!

I myself have also witnessed many nice and beautiful sightings since I was very young...

          Kind Regards

Beautifully written and so true! I beg your forgiveness that I'm going to quote you before asking (with credit given to you) on another forum as this fits so well on a particular thread (actually it would fit great on a lot of them). If that's not okay I'll remove my post later today.

            • It is interesting to note that I grew up on a farm on the prairies 100 miles from the nearest city and in 25 years I only saw this phenomena once. I spent all my time outdoors and our line of sight was as far as a person could see to the horizon yet I only saw this once in 25 years.

As well when I got older I talked with my friends about this at which point every single one of them said they had seen many UFO's. I have know my friends most all my life and they had never mentioned this fact before. As such I am led to believe that it is fairly common however people are afraid to speak up about it.

In any case since that time whenever I here an expert tell us 'How it is" I have to laugh because they really don't have a clue what they are talking about. It is my personal opinion that people are in denial because we fear things we do not understand and things which are out of our control. The fact is we are still little better than cavemen and if we need proof all we have to do is look at the state of our society and this planet we are destroying.

It may be time to grow up and take responsibility for our actions, time to move forward.

              • Wow, I truly hate to detour a thread but it seems more of us have seen this phenomenon than I realized. I saw a similar thing back in 1982 here in East Tenn except there was one large "craft" with a smaller one exiting, performing two 90 degree manuevers and then streaked off like a shooting star. There was no sound that I could detect and the larger light moved north out of our view and I never saw it again. Oddly enough, i mentioned it to my dad (who has long since passed) and he said he saw almost the same thing back in 1962 or 63 and in the same general area. There are no airports, military bases (that I know of), hospitals or anything else in the area or vicinity of where we saw these things. Its mostly farms and ridges with lots of rolling hills. Not much has changed in that area to this very day except I have not seen anything like it since. I always wondered why there are such long periods of time between sightings like that. Unless... they are more frequent than I think and we just don't notice because they aren't performing much different than regular aircraft when they want to hide in plain sight.

                • I guess the lesson we could apply here is that it takes a certain amount of energy to propel a craft from let's say zero to 30,000 mph in a few seconds. As well there are inertial forces to consider and to date we have no knowledge of how this could be done. It is a fact so we may as well just accept it and move forward.

My thoughts are simple in this respect and if "they" can do it then at some point I believe we can do it with sufficient understanding. Just set aside all the doubts and fears and move in a direction in which we feel progress could be made. We don't have to try and change the world overnight and the best we could do is make a difference and the worst pretend we are powerless to invoke change and do nothing.

That is what I like about these forums, we may not succeed but at least we have made the effort to make a difference. In a world of people obsessed by profit with no direction or sense of purpose I am thankful there are places like this. Now look at how far we have come in the last 100 years and imagine were our children will be 100 years from now, We need to get to that place in the future sooner than later and I for one believe we can.

                  • I grew up a few miles from a military bombing range in AZ. Jets streaking through the sky on high speed runs, as well as runs to strafe targets on the ground was a familiar site, and I was WELL aware of how fast those jets moved and COULD move. One morning in the wee hours, returning home from a double shift at work, while stopped at a traffic light, I saw a light in my rearview mirror and turned to see it come from as far away as I could see in the distance, go directly over my car and disappear as far into the distance as I could see in the opposite direction, moving at speeds so far beyond those of the familiar jets that I just sat there in awe. It traveled directly over that bombing range I spoke of on a course toward Mexico. That was my first encounter with something I could not explain, but was not my last. So in this area, I have an open mind. My children, who are grown, tease me about the poster I have up on the wall of my study, which is a replication of the one Fox Mulder had on the "X-Files" tv show and simply states. "I want to believe."

                    • One of my experiences. In 1979-80, I was working night shift in a large industrial park. It was summer, June-July, and we were working outside on a yard, moving material with an overhead crane. There were 7 of us. All of a sudden one boy asked what that large light was in the sky over top of the main power lines and substation supplying power to the park. We all turned and stared at it a moment, when someone said it was a helicopter checking the power lines. We were not more than a couple hundred yards away, so then someone asked why it didn't make any noise. All of a sudden, I was there alone. Everyone else had vanished. I suppose I was too interested to run so I just stood there. It was a long vessel airplane fuselage looking object. It hovered silently for a couple minutes then started turning slowly around, like it was suspended on a string. Then, when it had turned 360 degrees, it shot off in a flash of light. In a couple seconds it was out of sight. I have seen many aircraft, but I have never seen anything accelerate that fast. stelath

                      • Fail proof, real FE device I come up with two components. A modulator for controlling total energy of a system. The system is open-loop configuration. It all comes down function of time vs energy. Basically how to manipulate the harmonic resonance is the secret.

Previous inventors such as Nicola Tesla used mechanical modulators. Nowadays it can be replaced by few sensors and Arduino type of microcontroller. Type of energy source only affects COP ratio due to different energy density and characteristics.

So energy generation system without proper feed-back mechanism always fail to create more output than input. Why virtually all power generator from internal combustion engine to wind turbine stops as soon as external energy sources stop? Due to its fundamental design flaw and basic assumptions human believe in.

I suspect most great scientists such as Issac Newton assumed reality as close loop system with linearity in nature. I gonna get a Newton's Principia pretty soon. I want to investigate Newton's theory of physics by myself.
