  • Help wiring up Generator

Ive stationary mounted a 15 speed mountain bike and chain driven a fisher & paykel smart drive motor and need help wiring it up, there are three wires coming out of the stator, red, blue and yellow. How do i wire these to a standard home G.P.O. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need the circuit diagram for the device that the motor came
out of, presumably a washing machine.

Is it a device with a huge number of coils in a large circle? If so,
I think you have chosen a very exotic generator to start with. It
might be difficult to handle and might be better connected to Bedini
type circuitry. You could be reclaming back EMF.

You might be better off with a few standard car alternators belt driven.
They are costly unless obtained from Ebay or a breaker's yard. You will
get 12v DC and will need an inverter to handle the power that you
    can achieve.
