This group of individuals is trying to establish a legitimate community powered by renewable energy and essentially "free-living". With food access being strictly new forms of agriculture that are both prosperous and respectable to the environment.
They are definitely the real deal, and look to be beginning construction and establishing the community population next summer. Anyone is invited to help out, kickstarter fundraisers will be up before long, and most importantly see how you can become a part of the movement, that according to project leaders "are going to be the future of the free-spirited human race".
They are looking for engineers, artists, scientists, every and anything, literally. So if you can garden or hunt talk to them, survivalists as well. It would be much appreciated.
The goal here is to change the system of living that we have today. Wake up, work 7-5, 5 days a week, pay bills, and retire after years of work. They want people to be able to do what they truly want and completely extinguish the money system living style (which I'm sure, collectively we are fed up of).
