    After all the flooding and damage in Boulder are they still able to have this conference? They can't even get access to a lot of the area around there as so many roads were washed out.

      On the facebook page they have said that they are doing everything they can to keep everything on schedule. A quote:

          Being flooded is bad enough but being without electricity (usually necessary for gas fired boilers and central heating) should not be tolerated. Can you draw to their attention this almost ready-to-go solution for a temporary fix:
