Take the smallest wire you have ( magnet wire 30-35 awg is good ) .
Take a circle 200mm outer diameter.
2*3.14*100mm= 628 mm - lenght of 1 turn. We need 3 turns ( optimal ) .
So 650mm ( some xtra ) * 3 = 1950mm. Let's round it up to 2 meters.
Now that 30-35 awg wire. Put 2 nails 2 meters appart from each other and make
600 turns on them. Your homemade litz wire should be approx. diameter of 25mm. That extra should be enough for when you twis all your 600 turns togerger.
Then wind it on your 200mm frame like so :
PS : Don't forget to solder the ends together.
So are we saying a 1200 strand litz wire, 2 meters long, when completed? If its just 600 strands then the two nails shoul be 1 meter apart, then you will end up with a 2 meter, 600 strand litz. If the nails are 2 meters apart, you will end up with a 600 strand 4 meter long litz. Unless you double them up for 1200 strands at 2 meters...
Can someone clarify this for me?
[QUOTE=barbosi;243177]If the term "turns" is confusing , try this:
I understand the term "turns". 600 turns, wound on two nails, two meters apart will give you a 1200 strand, two meter long litz. If you watch the video links posted, the litz doesnt look like 25mm (1200 strands). Just want to be sure.

I've been scouring around the net trying to find any updates on this TPU replication. Does anyone know the current status? Also, is there an active thread somewhere on the russian forum where they are still working on this? I am considering to get involved but would be interested in seeing where the existing replicators are so far.
By the way I've got a top quality OCR program which can read Russian and translate it if this is in a PDF file. It even does good with catching the text on pictures or diagrams and translating them too. I'll gladly try running that file through this program if you would like.
There is no important work, there are only a series of moments to demonstrate your mastery and impeccability. Quote from Almine

Thanks,

Jason,
ElronD_T34 supposedly got a job that conflicts with his sharing his information. Prior to that announcement, he had been sharing here and on overunity.com with some active replicators there. A Google search will get you all kinds of information on replication efforts. It's been around a while.
Good Luck,
Randy

Hi ewizard, could you kindly try to scan and translate the document attached; it has been posted on O.U.R. and is the original on the construction of this TPU.
