I hope it's as good as they say. Been a lot of bad publicity about Missouri wind turbines and other companies. All seem to belittle each others products,
although they all seem to be using the same parts.

Missouri Wind and Solar Turbine, anyone try them?

I know what you mean, you get a lot of back stabbing in small niche markets.

I just cannot find anything that looks capable of producing decent power at low RPM's unless it costs a lot of money and is bulky.

For around the $500 budget it appears to be the best buy.

Using it for a torque amplifier prototype with a max RPM of approx. 60RPM it seems like the best chance of being able to demonstrate using a small input to get a larger output.

I am told it starts to make power at 180RPM.

I will post the answers from any further questions.

      A graph would be good.

      Best regards,

      Paul

Normally I would say run away from any car alternator clone however there are some nice features on this one. Note the magnets are slotted and pressed into the rotor . The big issue is heat however it looks like they have reworked the stator coils and have cooling fins on the case. It also looks like they have cast there own case and beefed up the mounting supports.
As I said normally I would steer clear of these units however I'm not sure I could design anything better... I like it. However, a big however is the output rated at 2800w. Note it states "up to 2800w" which may be true however the duty cycle or time at that output would be small I think.
