Sorry, the simulator would not allow me to model that transformer for a ring core.

I tried to simulate it with regular transformers, but it wouldn't work.

Thnx for the effort!

And what if you disgard all the coils, and just connect yr generator to the rectifier without the coils?

And enter 15.36v at 240mA as input instead of the loose coupled coils, so just a simulation of a direct connection., and see what the output is, without the joule thief circuit, so just ac in only and no loose coupling ( non inductive coupling did i say that right?)
