The part about naturally occurring nano filaments when burnt at the right temps shows how behind mankind is in his ability to learn from nature.

I agree, it seems like a win win situation to me. Hemp to produce bio-fuel, rope, clothes, food and medicines and the bi-product can be used to make super capacitors at a fraction of the cost.

Somehow I don't think the powers that be will allow any of it to happen, unless they can genetically modify and patent it. You watch, monsteranto will have a patented hemp in a matter of months that includes BT toxin, fluoride and anti fertility properties.
