    Thanks Matt,
Thanks for sharing your motor modifications, I know you are busy even with this up and down weather here in the Carolinas.

I have a second motor which is used to spin the mod generator. But want to build the driver if I can.

    Thanks,

    • Hi Matt, Dave and all,

I have a question... Has anyone tried to incorporate this circuit below into a normal DC motor? It has recovery as John Bedini's normal splitting the positive and John's gen mode charging. I am still doing testing but it appears to be close to or even over 1:1, with 4 batteries, one should also be able to time pulse current from the two charge batteries to the 24 volt primary to fully recharge the primary batteries. I am currently working in this direction and hope to report on it over the next two days.

Any thoughts are welcome about this.

You don't really need all those batteries.. This can all be done with just basic parts.

        Matt
I am not quite sure how to incorporate these things into a motor... Is that what you are doing with your motor generator?

        • It all comes back to what we said in the beginning

          1. The BEST pulse motor we can find
We have tried all kinds of different pulse motor builds and what Matt has come up with seems to be the best. But we invite EVERYONE to improve on it or come up with something better.
          2. Running the BEST generator we can find
We thought that a modified razor scooter motor was going to be the best generator, but it appears that we have found something better that can be built from scratch using off the shelf parts. That's what Matt is talking about here.
          3. Using the BEST switching we can find
This involves not only running the machine between the potential differences, but increasing those differences as best we can. It isn't the END of the research, it's just the BEGINNING. And it is definitely switching that makes the big difference.
          4. With the BEST flywheel to keep it spinning during off times.
There are so many different ways to put together a flywheel, it's not even funny. The rotor itself could be a flywheel in some builds. It all depends on the final configuration.

How about a roll call here. How many folks have actually gotten the razor scooter motor put together and are ready to test it and take the next step? We have considered just PMing those individuals and taking this dark to avoid all the idiots. But we don't want to leave real builders out of this project.

          • I have a Razor motor I've been using on another project. What's the hack?
            Sorry, I'll read...

I have all but #3. Just being patient until time to build what Matt post next.

              • Matt and Dave,

I honestly have not built a motor yet, but I would like to so if you can or will include me in on what you have planned would be a great thing.

                • Hi all

                  Please count me in.

This is my first atempt at any physical electronics project. I have had to join a local makerspace to have access to a workbench, but I believe they will have all the equipment I am likely to need.

I have a motor and wire, but won't be able to start stripping the motor until early next week. Unfortunately with family commitments my bench time will be limited to only a couple of evenings each week. I hope this will be enough to keep up with others on this build.

Many thanks to Matt and Dave for sharing their experience and time on this project.

                  Mike

                  • Please Count Me in to, I have been following along, experimenting has been minimal lately due to moving and the cold weather here in the northeast.
However i do want to get the razor motor and work along with you guys.
Appreciate your sharing Matt, Dave and all.

Count me in too. I just received two MY1016 250W motors and three 197' spools of 24AWG magnet wire to use for rewinding. I'll be cutting the old windings out of one motor after I get disassembled so I can begin the rewind.
