Sorry Dave, nothing personal was meant by that. I know many good teachers and had several all those long ago years. But you know probably better than most how messed up our educational system has gotten. It seems like the only thing that matters now is to get them out the door whether they have learned anything or not.
Our media and entertainment industry also share a large part in the dumbing down of America. Watching an idiot box night after night teaches one to not have to think or learn. Just swallow whatever garbage is being promoted. This forum has many on it that will believe anything they see without bothering to think about whether or not it seems logical or even trying to learn about it to see if it makes sense.
