  • Elementary Physics Revisited

    Hi all,

    I have written 4 short papers;

    the first explaining how to combine mass in series and in parallel, like 1kg + 1kg = 2kg but also like 1kg + 1kg = 1/2kg.

    the second describing how to increase momentum or charge in a system

    the third shows a template on how to compare harmonic systems, their variables and equations, like a mass-spring system with a coil-cap system

    the forth, which i believe is the most promising, uses the second and the third paper to show how to increase magnetic flux

    Thanks, they seem worth the look.

    On your page https://sites.google.com/site/nilreh...rcuits/sp-coil you ask the question "Where is the error"
    The error is that two equal coils in parallel gives half the inductance but double the current (similar to resistors). That effectively drops the system energy by a factor of 4 so you're back to 100%.

      Yes, you're right, that's an old one, I have to revisit it :-p
      But I believe the error is that I discarded the N in ΦN=LI.
